Story
Volunteer notes, 8/9/24:Scrappy knows sit and takes treats gently. He has great energy outside. Doesn`t care for kennel- noises, I had to drag back into kennel and go in to get him to come out. Loves to play and plays trickery games- when you try to get the leash out, he likes to pretend it`s a lasso and will get close and then dart away. Volunteer notes, 6/17/24:Scrappy is built for speed! He loved zooming around the play yard today. He also knows `sit` really well and will perform for treats. Despite a slightly serious demeanor, Scrappy behaved respectfully and showed off his nice, people-friendly manners. His only quirk was that he did not want to be leashed and returned to the kennel, so some light wrangling ensued. All was forgiven once we slid some treats into his temporary den!

Story
This stunning girl is Nala and she is around 2 years old. She was surrendered for no fault of her own...simply because pets aren`t allowed where her family lives now. According to her owner, Nala lived indoors, is crate trained, is good with all people, will stay in a fenced yard, and walks nicely on leash. Nala is a calm girl who listens well, is friendly but not over affectionate, and enjoys time to sniff and explore our play yard. She does not like other dogs who are very energetic, but may do well with another one who is calm like her, so a meet and greet is recommended. Nala is a really nice dog who will make a wonderful addition to most any home!

Story
Hey, have you heard? My name is Ira and I`m looking for a new home. I got lost recently and the kind human who found me brought me to the shelter. This place is nice and the people are super friendly and treat me well. I get plenty of food and water, and my accommodations are kept clean. It`s just kind of loud when everyone decides they have to bark at the same time. I really like it when someone takes me outside in the big play yard. They have toys, chairs, and a swimming pool! And I get to run around, be silly, and eat treats. All of this is great but it`s not the same as having my own family, home, and yard. I don`t know why my last people didn`t come looking for me. The people here say I`m a super sweet girl. I`m almost a year old and I promise if you adopt me, I will be your 100% best friend ever. I`m at the BAS Adoption Center and ready to go, so I hope you`ll come take me home today.
