You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  All dogs on our website ARE available and require an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before you can be considered or meet any of our dogs. Please consider this sweet girl today! Here is our application:    https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC Frannie is a sweet and beautiful, Blue Brindle Pittie. She's about 2 years old and weighs around 45-50lbs. She is gentle natured with lots of personality. She's super cute and will give you a silly, full body "giggle" wag! She loves being with her people and is a wonderful companion. Frannie has done well with her crate training and house breaking. She needs to be crated when left home alone (6-7 hours), and as of now she is crated overnight. She's food & toy motivated, eager to please and is learning basic manners. She is gentle with food and waits patiently for her meals. At times, she still acts like a puppy, but overall she has good impulse control and likes to chill on a dog bed and entertain herself with a bone or toy. Frannie overall has great leash manners but may need reminders to "settle/leave it" when something excites her. She can be an alert barker and would do best in a home not an apartment. Although, she goes potty well on leash, she would really enjoy a fenced yard to get her "zoomies" out. She has a moderate energy level and after playtime with her foster siblings, she enjoys exploring the yard and sunbathing on porch or lounging on couch/bed. She also likes to play fetch and learning to bring back. Frannie would do best with good natured, neutered male dog that could help guide her when she's unsure. She would do ok as an only too as she loves getting attention from her humans. She would do ok with older kids (8+). She's good with "dog savvy" cats, but if kitty is shy and runs, the chase may be fun -slow and appropriate intros are always recommended with kitties.   Like many other rescue dogs, Frannie had an unstable start to life and has some insecurities, but she will open up quickly with treats and sweet talk. She has been in foster care for over 9 months and has come along away from the shy puppy she was. She would succeed greatly with a dog experience owner that can continue to build her confidence. Breed experience is always appreciated, but she would be fine for a first time Pit Bull owner. Please consider adopting (or fostering) this sweet little lady!   Check out Frannie's videos below! Story
Cinnamon is a 2 year old pit bull. I’ve had cinnamon since she was a puppy and she has brought so much joy into my life. She is such a sweet and loving dog. She always wants to be up under you. She is definitely very active. She loves running, playing with other dogs, and cuddles. She enjoys bones and almost anything she can get her paws on! Cinnamon has been around other dogs and has also live with another dog. She is house trained and is great around people. She has been around my 1 year old son since i brought him him. Cinnamon has become a huge part of my family and it saddens me to the core that i can’t continue to be her owner. I would love for her to be adopted by a loving family, so they can experience the joy she can bring to their lives.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Winnie is a courtesy listed dog. She is not a part of Best Friend Pet Adoption. We are helping to find a new home for her.  Please contact Katie directly if you are interested in meeting or finding out more about Winnie.  She can be reached at  Babycatsrescue@gmail.com  or 919-757.2236.  Please text first!   Winnie is crate trained,  housebroken and leash trained.   She is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventatives. She is very friendly with everyone she meets!   She gets  along great with puppies but will need slow introductions to other adult dogs.  Winnie has lived successfully with several other dogs once she was introduced correctly and given the time needed to feel safe and comfortable around them.   Winnie could live with dog savvy cats but her perfect home would be one w/o cats or dogs.  She would love to be an only dog and get all your attention.  She does well with children even as young as 3!  But she is big and clumsy so might be better with older kids.   She is quiet in the house but will bark outside at times.  Winnie would love to have a yard but will do fine with walks followed by a nap!  Winnie is a great smuggler and will be a nice, lazy companion for your home. Could you please consider giving Winnie the home that she deserves.  She will be a loving friend and would really like to meet you:-)  WINNIE is a courtesy listed dog.  This means that she is not a part of or associated with Best Friend Pet Adoption (BFPA). The bio information listed for her was provided by others  and not generated or verified by BFPA. Adoption arrangements will be a private arrangement between you and Katie.  As with any dog adoption, BFPA encourages potential adopters to gain as much information as possible before adopting. This includes temperament testing and verification of vet records to ensure the dog is in good health, UTD on vaccinations and has been sterilized.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 3:09 pm
