Story
Rosie has been waiting over 550 days for a forever home. She is our longest resident and she desperately needs a forever home. Her ideal family would not have children under 12 or other pets. She is a stunning, 2.5 year old, female, Pit Bull mixed breed. She loves to play in our backyard and enjoys laying in the sun. She does well on a leash and is working on her house training. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. *PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience.  HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Story
Tac is an amazing dog that is going to make the right adopter VERY happy. She was born on 6/17/23 and she is a Pit Bull mixed breed. She is very sweet but shy around new people. She LOVES to play and cuddle with her foster siblings. Her ideal forever home would not have men and would definitely have another dog. She is extremely smart and knows several commands. She is great on a leash and really enjoys exploring outside. She is working on her potty training and has been doing great (her foster mom is a rockstar!). She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull/Shepherd dog or puppy.
