Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation WAIVED if picked up in TN, $100 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Burton, the spirited Border Collie/Shepherd mix ready to charm his way into your heart! At just 11.5 months old and weighing 45lbs, Burton is the epitome of puppy energy and enthusiasm. This playful goofball is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves exploring the great outdoors or engaging in a spirited game of fetch. One of Burton's most endearing qualities is his affectionate nature. He loves nothing more than showering his humans with hugs and snuggles, and watching him roll around and wiggle with joy in the yard is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. While Burton is still mastering obedience commands, his eagerness to learn and please shines through. He's doing well on his potty training and he is crate trained. His playful puppy antics are all part of his charm. Burton thrives in the company of other dogs, reveling in lively play sessions and companionship. A home with another energetic canine friend would be ideal for him, providing both playtime and valuable lessons in manners. Although Burton may be a bit shy around strangers, with patience and socialization, he's sure to blossom into a confident and loving companion. His fear of the unknown is understandable when you learn that he has recovered from being shot in the face and neck, with bullets remaining lodged in his body. He's a brave survivor with a zest for life, ready to embark on new adventures with his forever family. If you're prepared to continue Burton's training journey with patience and love, and provide him with a home filled with laughter and play, then he just may be the perfect match for you. So, what are you waiting for? Apply to meet Burton and discover the joy of having a playful pup by your side!  Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Luca who is an all white male pomsky. He is about 1 year old and weighs about 22 lbs. Luca came to the rescue from a farm, where he was living in a horse stall with 11 other dogs. Due to lack of socialization, he is very shy around people, but loves other dogs. Although he hasn't been playing with the resident dogs, Luca needs to have another friendly dog in his forever home to help him continue to learn how to be a dog.  Because of his flight risk, Luca requires a secure, physically fenced yard. Luca is finally beginning to learn what the good life is like.  He just recently started running in the grass and playing with toys.  Luca LOVES to play fetch!  He is crated during the day and even hangs out in the crate at times when he feels like it.  Luca has actually been sleeping with his human foster and cuddles close, as long as she doesn't look at him.  Although Luca is doing well with potty training, he does need a lot of work with leash walking, as he was never on a leash before.  At this time we do not know how Luca is with children or cats.  He will need a very patient adopter that understands that it will take awhile for him to adjust and warm up.  Luca is making steady progress with confidence and becoming more social every day, but he still has a ways to go. ##2056436##
