Quick Facts  Name: Kyla Age: 1 year old (approximately) Gender: Female Neutered/Spayed: Yes  Breed: Jindo Shiba Mix Color: Light Brown Weight: Microchip #: 410100004144786 Health Check: Vaccinations including rabies, DHPPI, Corona, influenza, and kennel cough. Heart-worm test in August 2024 negative All About MeHello, future friend! I’m Kyla, a sweet little girl who was rescued in December 2023 as a puppy from the streets of Gonjiam, Gyeonggi Province, where I was found as a stray with my mother. Now, at just 1 year old, I’m ready to find a loving home where I can truly belong. With my unique appearance resembling that of a little fox, I promise you, I’m even cuter in person! My PersonalityI have a gentle and reserved personality, which means I can be a bit shy, especially when I meet new people. At first, I may seem distant and take some time to warm up, but with a tasty treat in hand, I quickly show my affectionate side. It may take about 30 minutes for me to feel comfortable enough for gentle touches, and I might even hide my tail if I’m scared. But don’t worry! I love snacks, and once you offer me one, I can’t resist inching closer. Social SkillsWhile I may not let you touch me right away, I promise that as I become comfortable with you, I’ll happily accept your gentle touch, let you lift me, and even share sweet little kisses! I’m known for my delightful, girl-like cuteness, which shines through in everything I do. Learning from the other dogs around me has helped me become more at ease with people. I tend to be a bit shy around young children and can be startled by their sudden movements or loud noises. When it comes to other dogs, I enjoy greeting them but prefer to keep my distance during play. I can be a bit overwhelmed by high-energy pups, and I generally find comfort in the company of calmer dogs. Energy and ActivitiesI’m mostly an outdoor explorer who enjoys sniffing around during walks, but I also know how to relax and rest after some fun. I have a few unique traits that make me special, including a charming overbite and a mostly quiet nature. I rarely speak up and, when left alone in a kennel, I tend to be quite well-behaved. Special NotesI need a patient family who can give me the time I need to adjust. Thanks to my caring foster family, I’ve learned a lot, but it may still take me a day or two to settle into a new home. I thrive in a safe and secure environment, and I know that with your love, I’ll blossom into the wonderful companion I know I can be. If you’re looking for a delightful little girl who will fill your days with warmth and love, then I might just be the perfect fit for you. Let’s take our time getting to know each other and start this beautiful journey together!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Kyla's YouTube Playlist ##2260994##

Quick Facts  Name: Jenny Age: 3 years old Gender: Female Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Shiba Inu Jindo Mix Color: Black & Brown All About MeJenny was rescued just in time from a kill shelter, and she’s ready to fill your life with love. From day one, she’s been the ultimate companion, eager to make new friends and share her gentle spirit. She adores people and welcomes strangers with open paws, letting them pet her and even carry her without a fuss. My PersonalityWhen it comes to other dogs, Jenny is polite and friendly. She enjoys the company of larger dogs and knows how to play nicely. However, if a dog shows aggression, she will stand her ground to protect herself and her loved ones. Jenny has a moderate energy level, making her the perfect blend of playful and calm. She loves outdoor walks and is a pro at leash walking, but she’s just as happy lounging indoors. Training and HabitsThis sweet girl is not a resource guarder with people, though she may growl if another dog gets too close for comfort. She rarely barks, making her a wonderfully gentle presence in any home. In the car, Jenny is a star—she does well in her crate and knows how to hop in and out with ease. She’s also potty trained and prefers to do her business outdoors. Special NotesJenny is looking for a loving family who can give her the attention she deserves and help her shine. Story
Quick Facts  Name: Bera Age: 10 years old Gender: Female  Neutered/Spayed: Yes  Breed: Shiba Inu  Color: Brown Weight: 7kg   All About MeHi, I’m Bera! I’m a 10-year-old Shiba Inu with a soft brown coat and a calm, independent personality. Weighing 7kg (15lb), I may be a senior, but I carry myself with quiet dignity. My journey led me to a shelter in Pyeongtaek, where I waited for someone to claim me. But when no one came, I was left with an uncertain future—until I was rescued. Now, I’m looking for a peaceful home where I can enjoy my golden years in comfort.   My PersonalityI am reserved and independent. I take my time warming up to people and don’t actively seek attention, but I also don’t mind human company. If you have treats, I’ll happily accept them, and once I feel comfortable, I’ll let you pet me. However, I don’t demand affection or constant engagement—I prefer a calm and quiet presence. Unlike many Shibas, I don’t have the typical “Shiba drama”—I am polite, composed, and gentle. I won’t create chaos in the home, and I prefer peaceful companionship over playful antics.   Social SkillsI am neutral toward other dogs. I don’t seek them out for play, and I prefer to be left alone rather than engage in social interactions. High-energy dogs can be a bit much for me, so I’d do best in a home with other calm pets or as the only dog. I haven’t been tested with cats, so my reaction to them is unknown.   Energy and ActivitiesI have a moderate energy level. I enjoy short walks and light outdoor activities, but I’m also happy to lounge and relax at home. I don’t require intense exercise—just a little movement each day to keep me happy. I walk well on a leash and follow my person without pulling. I’m a great companion for slow, relaxed walks where I can take my time exploring my surroundings.   Training and HabitsI do not guard my food from people, but I prefer to eat without other dogs nearby. If another dog gets too close while I’m eating, I may give a quiet warning growl to keep my space. I am fully house-trained and can use both pee pads and outdoor spaces for potty breaks. I am also kennel-trained and settle down easily when placed in a crate.   My Ideal HomeI would do best in a quiet, low-energy home where I can live at my own pace. I don’t need a home full of excitement or constant activity—I simply want a stable, predictable environment where I can feel safe and relaxed. If my new home has other pets, they should be respectful of my space since I prefer not to interact too much. However, I would also be happy as the only pet in a home where I receive gentle care and attention.   Special NotesI am a calm, independent, and easygoing companion who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, quiet, and gentle dog, I might be the perfect fit. With patience and understanding, I will be a loyal and steady presence in your life.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Bera's YouTube Playlist ##2342381##

Story
Quick Facts  Name: Sang Age: 6 years old  Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo & Shiba Mix Color: Black & Tan Weight: 12kg   All About Me I was abandoned in front of the shelter with my five siblings, but now I’m ready to find my forever home where I can finally feel safe and loved. I might be a little shy at first, but with some time and patience, I’ll warm up and become your most loyal companion. Good with kids: We’re not sure yet, as Sang hasn’t had the chance to meet any children. However, he has a very gentle and calm temperament, so we believe he would likely do well with kids.Good with other dogs: Yes, once comfortable.Good with cats: Slightly scared, but less than with dogs.   My Personality Shy but Sweet: I’m a bit timid when we first meet, but give me a little time, and I’ll become your best friend. I might not be too interested in snacks, but I’m definitely interested in getting to know you! People-Focused: I rely a lot on people for comfort and security. Once I know you like me, I’ll follow you everywhere and shower you with affection. You’ll always have a loyal companion by your side! Not Much of a Player: I’m not very interested in other dogs, but I feel more secure when they’re around. While I might not play with them, I do like having them nearby—it makes me feel safe. A home with other dogs could be a good fit for me! Outdoor Enthusiast: I enjoy outdoor activities and have a normal energy level. After some fun outside, I’m happy to rest quietly and relax with you. Easygoing Eater: I’m very laid-back when it comes to food—I don’t guard my meals, and I’m always polite during mealtime. Quiet and Calm: I’m not much of a barker, and I’m calm when resting in a kennel. I prefer to keep things peaceful and quiet. House-trained:Yes, Sang is fully house-trained and only goes potty outside. He has never had an accident indoors. Energy Level:Sang has a moderate energy level indoors. He enjoys quietly following you around the house and just being near you. However, when he's outside, he becomes very fast and loves to run around. He doesn’t play with toys—he’s actually a bit scared of them—but when I take him to a private off-leash area, he enjoys chasing me around. Sang doesn’t really know how to “play” like a typical dog, so I just talk to him a lot and engage with him that way. He understands “pee pee poo poo” in a high-pitched voice as a cue to go outside, and he gets excited, sometimes even cries a little (in a happy way) because he’s eager to go out. Leash Trained:Sang may pull at first due to nerves, especially in unfamiliar areas. He gets startled by certain noises like car doors closing or beeping, and large vehicles passing by. Once he’s used to the environment, he walks at a normal pace. He usually needs to pee or poop in the morning, so if he’s pulling harder than usual, he’s probably just looking for a good spot to go. After that, he settles down. He can get scared when large dogs approach and might try to pull away. Please be careful—he may slip out of his harness if it isn’t secure. I always make sure the harness is snug and pulls from the chest area. Barking:Sang doesn’t bark! He only makes sounds in his sleep—it’s really cute. He might bark softly for a few seconds while dreaming, but otherwise he doesn’t bark at all. He sometimes cries when he’s excited, but it’s never loud or disruptive. Car Travel:Sang loves car rides! I try to bring him with me whenever I can because he enjoys being in the car. I think he likes it even more because he usually ends up at fun places like his dog friends’ houses, the cottage, or my parents’ home. He seems to assume we’re going somewhere exciting when we drive. He’s very calm in the car and gets visibly excited when I shift into “park”—it’s like he knows we’ve arrived somewhere good!   Special NotesI’m a gentle, loyal, and affectionate dog who’s looking for a patient and loving home. I might be shy at first, but once I trust you, I’ll be the most devoted companion you could ever ask for. I’m great with other dogs, even if I don’t play much, and I’ll always prioritize my human friends. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving friend who will follow you everywhere, I’m your perfect match! Ready to give Sang a loving home? Let’s start our journey together—I can’t wait to meet you and be your loyal companion!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nfrKkcuPUk&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JwExxMEjohV4q2hawhiGaY3 ##2260902##

Quick Facts  Name: Max Age: 4 years old Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Shiba Inu Mix Color: White All About Me I’m Max, a delightful 4-year-old male Jindo Shiba Inu mix eagerly searching for my forever home. I found myself in a City shelter around November 2020, wandering the streets. Thankfully, I was rescued just before being put down. My PersonalityI’m a people-loving pup with a heart as warm as a summer day. Meeting new faces is one of my favorite things, and I easily make friends with both humans and fellow furry pals. I’m ok with sharing my food with other dogs. I’m polite and greet unfamiliar dogs with a friendly wag and a sniff. Energy and ActivitiesWhile I might pull on the leash a bit (I’m just excited), I’m generally well-behaved during walks. I haven’t had much experience with strolls, so I might need some guidance initially. I have high energy though, after a good walk, I’m more than happy to curl up for a relaxing nap. I’m not a barker and outdoor potty breaks are my preference, so a backyard or regular walks would suit me well. Training and HabitsHaving spent most of my early years in a shelter, I’m ready for some home training adventures! Patient guidance and positive reinforcement will surely bring out the best in me. Special Notes If you’re ready to add a splash of sweetness to your life, I’m the Mango for you! Reach out to the shelter and let them know you’re interested in making me a part of your family.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Max's YouTube Playlist ##2260962##

Story
Jisu is a 6-year-old spayed Shiba Jindo mix girl with a lovely brown and white coat, weighing a petite 9kg. She was found wandering at the summit of Homyeong Lake, located 535m up Mt. Homyeongsan in Gapyeong, without a collar. This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and loves people—both familiar faces and friendly strangers alike! She’ll happily come over for pets, leaning in close and soaking up attention without hesitation. Jisu enjoys being touched and has no issues with handling, though she’s not too fond of being picked up with an arm under her belly just yet. She’ll squirm a bit when held, but not in a panic—she’s practicing daily and making progress. She hasn’t had experience with children under 13, so introductions to little ones would need to be slow and thoughtful. Jisu is just as social with other dogs! She enjoys meeting both new and familiar pups, greeting everyone with a wag and an invitation to play. She especially gets along well with larger dogs and has a gentle, easygoing nature that helps her get along with just about anyone. Even if another dog gets pushy or sits on her by mistake (it happens!), she remains calm and unbothered. If tensions arise, Jisu simply walks away—no drama here! In playgroups, she mingles well and makes friends easily. She’s also cat-approved—Jisu has been tested with cats and passed with flying colors! With a moderate energy level, Jisu loves her outdoor adventures but settles down nicely afterward. She’s a pro at walking on leash and doesn’t pull, preferring to stop and sniff her surroundings rather than rush ahead. She’s not fazed by people, dogs, cars, or bicycles during walks and takes everything in stride. Jisu isn’t possessive over food with people or other dogs and rarely barks. She rides calmly in a crate and typically does her business outside. Having likely lived on the streets before, she has a habit of scavenging food off the ground during walks, so her adopter should be mindful of that as she continues her training. She recently had a dental exam and scaling, and the vet found she has enamel hypoplasia, which makes her teeth a bit yellow—but don’t worry, it doesn’t stop her from enjoying life! Jisu is the perfect mix of friendly, mellow, and loving, just waiting to find her forever home. Story
Teddy is looking for a new forever home! He is currently in Abbotsford, BC. Teddy is a Playful, energetic, loving boy who is always up for a game tug of war! He gets along well with other dogs. Teddy can be shy and cautious when he meets new people but will become affectionate and loyal after some time. He will take more time with men than women. Ted has not been around children recently, but lived with children in his previous foster home and loved them! He will jump up due to excitement but will calm down when you say no or sit. When strangers come into his home, he will bark initially and needs a while to settle. Needs work on coming when called and commands. But warms up to people over time. Teddy is a flight risk and can be startled by some sounds and new environments, but eventually settles after some adjusting time. He does not like his paws being touched, and needs some time to be eased into nail trimming. Teddy loves to watch birds and chases small animals like rabbits and squirrels, but is learning how to stay by his handlers’ side with some training. He is fully potty trained outdoors. This playful pup has a high energy level and loves his playtime, but also can chill out between bursts and relaxes at home. Teddy knows what toys are his and will chew and rip his stuffy toys, but never destroys furniture or anything he isn’t supposed to in his home. Teddy’s mom and her puppies were found on the street in the midst of the freezing weather. View more photos and videos on Facebook: Link to Post Does Teddy sound like the right companion for you? Story
Meet Buddy, the charming Shiba Jindo mix with a heart as warm as his soft brown coat! At 1 year old and weighing 13.5kg, this handsome boy is ready to find his forever family. Buddy’s story began on the streets, where he followed neighborhood dogs on their walks, wagging his tail and eagerly trying to make friends. His gentle nature made him a beloved figure in the community, and he was saved from the threat of a dog meat trader. Buddy is a natural social butterfly, both with people and dogs. He’s not shy about approaching strangers for pets and will happily lean in for affection. Whether it’s men, women, or children—even those as young as 13—Buddy welcomes everyone with a wagging tail and even enjoys belly rubs from new friends. The only time he’s shown a hint of caution is around men carrying sticks, likely a memory from his time on the streets. With other dogs, Buddy is equally friendly, always eager to say hello and invite them to play. He gets along best with dogs his size but doesn’t mind smaller pups either. However, if another dog picks a fight, Buddy won’t back down—so a little supervision during first meetings is recommended. He currently lives harmoniously with a cat and shows no signs of prey drive. Buddy has a medium energy level—he loves his walks and outdoor playtime, but once the fun is over, he’s more than happy to curl up and relax. He’s well-mannered indoors, plays independently with his toys, and sleeps soundly. On walks, he can pull on the leash when he’s excited but is overall responsive and easy to manage. While Buddy shows no resource guarding towards people, he can get a little protective of his food around other dogs—understandable after fending for himself on the streets. He rarely barks, only letting out a few excited woofs when he’s thrilled to see you or wishes he could tag along on an outing. Buddy is fully house-trained for outdoor potty only and rides quietly in the car, even hopping in on his own when invited. With his affectionate personality, gentle heart, and playful spirit, Buddy is ready to bring endless love and joy to his future family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll greet you with wagging tails and warm snuggles, Buddy might just be your perfect match!
