Story
Kaida was dumped by her owner at the owners friends home. They believed that the owner was going to come back and pick her up. However, that wasn't the case. Weeks went by and after multiple attempts trying to contact her family eventually they replied. They told the people, they did not want her and to go take her to a shelter. After being abandoned Kaida started to go into a depression and shy away. The home of which she was dumped at, could not afford to care for another dog but they also didn't want to drop her off at the shelter because they knew she would be euthanized.    Kaida is a very sweet, loving and affectionate pup. She is very shy, but only takes a day to warm up to new faces. She does jump at loud noises. We believe it is possible that the prior owner may have caused that fear. She is a very good on a leash and she loves to play with her toys. She is also not territorial , she is able to be fed in a common space. Kaida is crate trained. She is a go with the flow kind of dog when she is in a comfortable setting. She is great with other dogs and isn't cat reactive. She loves children but does bark on initial introduction. After she feels safe she is such a goofy silly little firecracker. She warms up very quickly and doesn't need a lot of time to decompress like some dogs do.She will do better in a home with other dogs ##2020885##

Story
Meet Penny – Your Perfect Adventure Buddy! Penny is a happy and spirited pup who loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors! She’s always up for long walks and hikes, with endless energy to accompany you on all your adventures. At the same time, Penny knows how to enjoy the simple pleasures of life—she’s just as content relaxing on a comfy bed, quietly hanging out with her people. Affectionate and playful, Penny's favorite things include belly rubs, back scratches, and occasionally howling along with her humans for some fun. She’s incredibly polite when it comes to food—while she’ll happily accept a tasty treat (like a piece of steak!), she never begs or whines during mealtime. Completely potty trained, Penny is well-mannered indoors and hasn’t had a single accident in her foster home. She prefers peaceful hikes and walks in quieter areas since she can get a little anxious when there’s a lot of dog activity around her. With gentle guidance, Penny stays calm and sweet, but leash anxiety can cause her to seem a bit defensive. Fireworks and loud noises do make Penny uneasy, so she may need extra comfort during holidays. Attention and petting, along with calming supplements, help her feel safe during those times. Overall, Penny is a loyal, polite, and loving girl looking for a forever home where she can share her love for the outdoors and her gentle, loyal heart. If you’re searching for an affectionate companion with a love for adventure, Penny could be your perfect match! Fill out an application on our website to meet Penny today!

Story
Meet Parker, a beautiful American Eskimo mix with a heart full of love to give. Parker's journey has been a bit bumpy, but he's ready to find his forever home where he can feel safe and cherished. Parker was previously adopted but came back to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Since then, he's been adjusting to his new environment and showing his true colors. He loves just being present next to his foster parent and enjoys long walks, especially in the cooler morning and evening hours. Parker gravitates to one person and is very loyal and protective of that person. He is also slowly warming up to new people, showing his gentle and cautious nature. Parker would thrive in a home with someone who is retired or has plenty of time to spend with him. He doesn't have a concept of play yet and is still learning what to do with balls and dog toys, but with patience and love, he may start to enjoy these activities. Parker shows signs of past trauma, like whimpering in his sleep and twitching, so he needs a compassionate and understanding owner who can provide a calm and stable environment. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will be by your side through thick and thin, Parker is the perfect match. Give Parker the loving home he deserves, and you'll gain a faithful friend for life. Prospective adopters should fill out an application on our website. Let's help Parker find his forever family!
