Story
** Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea ** Rescue Story : Jinnie was found on a street in Paju, South Korea at just two months old and taken to a high-risk shelter along with her five siblings. Right before euthanasia, they were saved by HDS Rescue, and later on, three of her siblings found their homes, while Jinnie is still searching for her forever home. Jinnie was lucky to have an opportunity to live in a foster home for about a year and a half from her puppyhood until Dec 2022 when she turned two. Since then, she has been living with numerous dogs in the crowded shelter, where there cannot be undivided love for her. Jinnie still remembers how nice and lovely her home was. We hope she doesn’t forget that and gets another chance to live in a loving home again but permanently this time. Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Gentle Jinnie is super friendly and full of sweetness! She thrives on love and affection, making her the perfect fit for anyone seeking a loyal and lovely fur soulmate. She would do better in a home with another furry companion. With Cats : Gentle with kitties With Dogs : She does well with other dogs. She was sent to a daycare regularly during the foster period, so she learned manners and how to socialize. With Adults/Kids : Good with adults including men / Unknown for kids Shedding : 5-7 Food Allergies : She may be a little allergic to chicken and grain according to her previous foster family, but this needs to be confirmed by a vet later. Walking Manner : Mostly gentle on a walk but gets excited about birds and other doggies. Housetrained : fully housebroken, going potty indoors (pee-pads) & outdoors whenever she was in the foster home. Bathing/Brushing : very good Separation Anxiety : She tends to have mild separation anxiety due to strong attachment to her people, so having another furry companion in a home would be beneficial for her to feel more comfortable and secure. Bark or Howl : No. Like & Dislike : One of her favorite things is just to be around her people, which is well known among the shelter staff and volunteers! Plus, she likes playing with balls! / She is not a fan of being left alone. Health : very healthy!

Story
He's 10 years old. Originally he was my sister's dog. I took him in when she became pregnant and could no longer care for him. However, I am now pregnant myself and am finding it hard to keep up with his care. He's a sweet dog. He's currently in need of some shots, but otherwise very healthy. I put that he isn't good with other dogs, only because he takes time to get used to them. He used to live with another dog for years just fine, but it may take time for him to warm up to a new one. He currently lives with a few cats and does just fine with them. I would also say that I feel like he'd be better in a home with no very small children. As long as they're old enough to respect his space and boundaries, he'll be good. I don't want any money for him. Overall, he's been in my life for ten years, and I just want him to end up in a loving home that can care for him.

Story
** Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea ** > Rescue Story: Cream was a puppy abandoned at the foot of a mountain beside a highway. The mother dog lived as a farm guardian and got pregnant by a stray dog, giving birth to six puppies, two of whom died. Cream was one of the four surviving puppies. She actively tries to initiate play :) - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Likes all people including adults and kids. > Shedding level (1-10): 5 > Walking Manners: in training but improving a lot! > Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well / no allergies > Housetrained: She goes potty indoors (pee-pads) and outdoors. As she grows, she is expected to prefer the outdoors. > Separation Anxiety: None. She plays with toys by herself. > Barks: Almost none except when she initiates play. > Likes: She likes playing with people and toys. She needs to experience a variety of things as she grows.

Story
This senior pup is about 11 years old and still has lots of snuggles and adventures left in her!! She loves stuffed toys, cuddles, jumping, and giving hugs. Shelly is housetrained and good with kids. She's done well with dogs in the past, but can be a bit possessive over her person - so she may do best in a home without other animals. She's ready to have endless conversations with you about anything under the sun and would be thrilled to have space to zoom around in. Is this older pup the snuggle buddy your family has been looking for?

Story
Koopa is a playful 3 yr. old Shiba Inu boy. He weighs 30 pounds and has a beautiful full red coat. As an active boy, he will need a fenced yard to run in, and would benefit from daily walks with his new family. He will also love to come with you on your car trips. Koopa loves all toys and balls, with stuffed animals and squeaky balls his favorite. If you are too busy to play, he will toss the toys in the air himself and run to retrieve them. Koopa is a great snuggler and will sleep at your feet if you let him. He is dominant over small dogs and should be adopted as an only dog. He is great on walks, exploring everything and ignoring other dogs, even if they are barking at him. He is wary of small children and we are looking for an adult-only home for him. He is fully house trained. Koopa is currently fostering in North Carolina. Please visit our main site for more information or to apply to adopt.
