Location : Korea Adoption inquiries: wds3628@nate.com ▶ (relationship with dogs) : It takes some time to get closer at the first time but, she tends to get along well unless some dog tries to playing too much. She likes to hang out with their friends. ▶ (relationship with cats) : Not the severe hunting but, she is not friendly with cats. It is not recommended with the house where the cats are living. ▶ (relationship with people) : From the time of the rescue, she was on the alert but, not aggressive at all. She doesn’t come to you first, but she even doesn’t refuse to be touched. When she gets confident or strangers visit your house then she could bark at the first time. But she only barks without any other reactions like warning or other additional actions. ▶ (house trained) : outdoor defecation ▶ (walks on leash) : She can slowly do it well. At the first time, she feared cars but, now she is good at it. In the narrow roads, when the car or bike, motorcycle pass through, then she waits until the transportation goes. If you forcibly pull her, you must be careful because she would step back. ▶ (special notes) : She is domesticated while she spent more than one year with temporary protection family, but she is still afraid of people’s touch. She lives quietly and peacefully at home nowadays. There is no problem staying along with young children. She likes to listen to bird’s chirping and appreciating the scene of landscape while sitting on the deck. It is preferred the house with wide yard. I hope Meso meet the family who will take care and accept her at it is.

Story
**This dog is in boarding in Saint Catherine, and badly needs a home! Apply to adopt at lastminutedogrescue.comKenji was a stray when he was picked up by animal control and taken to a high-kill shelter. Hes been learning to trust people and is doing amazing! It took the kennel staff where he was staying several weeks to convince him he was among friends, but once he realized he really was safe, his beautiful, bubbly nature came shining through. He loves people he knows and once he warms up to you, he will never forget your face! Throw a ball for him or let him grab the mitten off your hand for a game of keep-away, and you've got a friend for life. Kenji is still afraid of strangers, especially men. His character in the absence of his triggers is gentle and loving to the core, but if he thinks someone is a threat, he'll lunge and bark aggressively. He really and truly just needs time to get to know new people before he will accept them -- he hasn't met anyone yet who he didn't warm up to after a few happy meetings. He would do best with women, but a patient man with a soft approach could definitely work his way into Kenji's inner circle. We've watched Kenji open up from his feral state and bloom into one of the most joyful beings we've ever known, so we have total confidence in his potential to be the Bestest Boy for someone really special. He will need support and training to work on his fear of strangers, but his companionship and affection are worth the investment. Kenji has been waiting a long time to belong to someone and he's really, really ready to go home now. If you think you and Kenji are a match, please don't hesitate to go to our website lastminutedogrescue.com and fill out an application to adopt him today! Story
I'm Max, a delightful 4-year-old male Jindo Shiba Inu mix eagerly searching for my forever home. Background: I found myself in a City shelter around November 2020, wandering the streets. Thankfully, I was rescued just before being put down. Personality: I'm a people-loving pup with a heart as warm as a summer day. Meeting new faces is one of my favorite things, and I easily make friends with both humans and fellow furry pals. I’m ok with sharing my food with other dogs. I'm polite and greet unfamiliar dogs with a friendly wag and a sniff. Walks: While I might pull on the leash a bit (I'm just excited), I'm generally well-behaved during walks. I haven't had much experience with strolls, so I might need some guidance initially. I have high energy though, after a good walk, I'm more than happy to curl up for a relaxing nap. Interactions: I'm not a barker and outdoor potty breaks are my preference, so a backyard or regular walks would suit me well. Training: Having spent most of my early years in a shelter, I'm ready for some home training adventures! Patient guidance and positive reinforcement will surely bring out the best in me. If you're ready to add a splash of sweetness to your life, I'm the Mango for you! Reach out to the shelter and let them know you're interested in making me a part of your family. Story
🐾 Hey, I’m Dale! 🐶 At 7 months old, I’m a Shiba Inu pup with a sleek black and tan coat. I’m a growing boy, already 7 kg and 25 cm tall. I’ve been fixed, so I’m all about the fun and games, no worries! 🌟 About Me: I’m a bit on the shy side, but I’m all ears (and tail wags) for a tasty snack. Once we’re pals, I’ll trust you enough to show you my belly – that’s Jindo for “I like you!” 🐾 My Interactions: I haven’t hung out with kids under 13 yet, but I’m willing to learn. I’m a polite greeter with other dogs, though I prefer to keep playtime with those my own size or smaller. 🐱 Cats: We haven’t met, but I’m open to making new friends of all kinds. 🏞️ Outdoor Fun: I love a good adventure outside, but I’m happiest chilling at home after. I’m still getting the hang of walks, so if I get spooked, I might pancake on the ground – it’s just my way of saying “slow down.” 🏠 Home Life: I’m a zen pup in a kennel, and I’m a pro at using indoor pads or going outside for my bathroom breaks. 🐕 My Buddies: I’ve had some big dog roommates, and we got along just fine, especially with my friend Nalla. I’m not one for confrontation, so I keep things chill. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who’s ready to grow and learn with you, I’m your guy. Let’s meet and see if we’re a match made in doggy heaven! 🐾💕 Interested in adopting me? Just reach out, and I’ll be here with a wagging tail and a heart full of love! 🐾🏡

Story
Name: 마음 (Maeum) Age: Estimated 3 years old Gender: Male Weight: 13 lbs Breed: Mixed breed Neutered: Neutered (recovered from heartworm) Vaccination: Completed 4th round Relationship with Adults: Maeum is a bit fearful of all adults, but he particularly loves female humans. He has experienced trauma from male humans, so he needs more time to build trust with them. He's been living in a foster home for 8 months, and he's still afraid of men, but with patience, he will likely adjust well. Relationship with Children: Maeum is scared of children as they have thrown stones at him in the past. However, he doesn't reject their touch and can get along with children in the same household. Relationship with Other Dogs: He is not very interested in other dogs and can be fearful of both large and small dogs. Sometimes he may show interest in bigger dogs if they have a similar body language, but caution is advised as he's still learning social skills. Relationship with Cats: Maeum is also scared of cats but doesn't pay much attention to them. He is a considerate and gentle dog, so he may get along well with cats once he's familiar with them. House Training: Initially, Maeum may do some marking until he fully adjusts, but currently, he has no bathroom accidents. He tends to lift his leg and urinate, so using longer pee pads against the wall is a good idea. Energy Level: He is extremely gentle and timid, not prone to accidents or mischief. He is quite fearful of loud noises and toys that make noise. Separation Anxiety/Barking: Maeum has some separation anxiety because he loves human interaction. He may show signs of it in the first few minutes but can wait quietly when left alone. He rarely barks, except when he's happy to see people. Affection and Petting: He loves being petted and cuddled. Walking: Maeum enjoys walks and walks calmly. He may be uncomfortable in unfamiliar places or around loud noises, especially when children are playing with balls nearby. Escape Possibility: Maeum doesn't try to leave the side of those he trusts (typically females). There's very little chance of him running away, but caution is advised when outside. Rescue Story: Maeum spent a long time as a stray dog, living in a large open space with other dogs. He endured harsh weather conditions, facing extreme cold in winter and scorching sun in summer. He had no shelter and had to deal with mosquito swarms every evening. Despite this, he greeted people who came to feed him, but some cruel individuals cut his leash and chased him away. A few days later, he was found at a shelter, rescued, and brought to safety. He's an incredibly sweet dog despite the hardships he's faced. Please note that Maeum's past experiences have left him with some fears and anxieties, so it's essential to provide him with a patient and loving environment to help him heal and adjust. Please apply at www.welcomepawsrescue.org. This pet is currently in Korea but can fly to Lax, JFK, DFW, Chicago, SFO, SeaTac, DC, Boston, ATL, Vancouver and Toronto upon the adoption.
