Story
Smokey is a PRECIOUS “coyote pup” that we pulled from a local shelter and is ready for his forever home 🖤 If you give Smokey scratches, he will beg you for more. He loves attention and affection and will try his hardest to please you to earn more lovins! He is friendly with other dogs and people, and doesn’t pull on leash, making him a great walking or hiking buddy. 🏕️ This handsome boy is attentive, and quick learner. He is medium- energy, making him great for active lifestyles but also lazy when you need him to be! Once comfortable in his new home, Smokey may start to push some boundaries. For example, when left alone he may grab a shoe or the remote control. He's also not very comfortable with certain things, like getting into the car. With patience and positive reinforcement training, he is sure to overcome these mental barriers.🥰 Smokey knows the cues "sit" and "stay" but doesn't always respond, so he still needs some work on basic obedience. He is fully house trained! Smokey needs a forever home that will be patient with him and continue his training. He would also appreciate a semi-active lifestyle, regularly going on walks. He will do very well in a home with children and other dogs or being the only dog.🐶 If Smokey sounds like the one for you, please apply!
