Story
It is so hard to believe Jinsook has not been swooped up for adoption! She is now one of our Diamond Dogs, which are the pets we highlight as the Diamond in the Ruff seeking their forever home. Her adoption fee has been reduced to $125. Jinsook (aka Jinny) is a 43 lbs. and 13 years old. She was surrendered to a shelter by her owner. She's now living the good life in foster care while she waits for her new family. Jinny is living with 3 big dogs (male and female) and gets along well with all of them.  Don't let her age fool you; Jinny has some pep in her step and is still quite playful! She enjoys her morning walks, with or without other doggies, and is good on the leash. Jinny is a sweet, affectionate lady who enjoys being petted. She is house and crate trained and has free run of the house when her foster mom is away from home. She does not get on the furniture (although she is allowed to do so and is capable of jumping on the couch).  Jinny would do best in a home without small children or cats. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on heartworm prevention. You can apply to meet/adopt her here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Hi! I'm Marigold! I'm an approximately 2 year old, female, Sheba Inu/Shepherd mix who weighs about 35lbs. I was found on 08/06/2024 on FM550 in Heath and never reclaimed. I walk well on a leash and enjoy the company of people! I can be awkward before you get to know me, but that changes pretty quickly. I love affection and love to play. I would do best in a home without children or children who are over 16 years old. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters and heartworm negative! If you are interested in bringing me into your family, please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. August 19, 2024, 8:01 pm
