Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Finn from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 1year old male Shiba Inu- Corgi mix.  I weigh approximately 16 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
I'm Max, a delightful 4-year-old male Jindo Shiba Inu mix eagerly searching for my forever home. Background: I found myself in a City shelter around November 2020, wandering the streets. Thankfully, I was rescued just before being put down. Personality: I'm a people-loving pup with a heart as warm as a summer day. Meeting new faces is one of my favorite things, and I easily make friends with both humans and fellow furry pals. I’m ok with sharing my food with other dogs. I'm polite and greet unfamiliar dogs with a friendly wag and a sniff. Walks: While I might pull on the leash a bit (I'm just excited), I'm generally well-behaved during walks. I haven't had much experience with strolls, so I might need some guidance initially. I have high energy though, after a good walk, I'm more than happy to curl up for a relaxing nap. Interactions: I'm not a barker and outdoor potty breaks are my preference, so a backyard or regular walks would suit me well. Training: Having spent most of my early years in a shelter, I'm ready for some home training adventures! Patient guidance and positive reinforcement will surely bring out the best in me. If you're ready to add a splash of sweetness to your life, I'm the Mango for you! Reach out to the shelter and let them know you're interested in making me a part of your family. Story
🐾 Hey, I’m Dale! 🐶 At 7 months old, I’m a Shiba Inu pup with a sleek black and tan coat. I’m a growing boy, already 7 kg and 25 cm tall. I’ve been fixed, so I’m all about the fun and games, no worries! 🌟 About Me: I’m a bit on the shy side, but I’m all ears (and tail wags) for a tasty snack. Once we’re pals, I’ll trust you enough to show you my belly – that’s Jindo for “I like you!” 🐾 My Interactions: I haven’t hung out with kids under 13 yet, but I’m willing to learn. I’m a polite greeter with other dogs, though I prefer to keep playtime with those my own size or smaller. 🐱 Cats: We haven’t met, but I’m open to making new friends of all kinds. 🏞️ Outdoor Fun: I love a good adventure outside, but I’m happiest chilling at home after. I’m still getting the hang of walks, so if I get spooked, I might pancake on the ground – it’s just my way of saying “slow down.” 🏠 Home Life: I’m a zen pup in a kennel, and I’m a pro at using indoor pads or going outside for my bathroom breaks. 🐕 My Buddies: I’ve had some big dog roommates, and we got along just fine, especially with my friend Nalla. I’m not one for confrontation, so I keep things chill. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who’s ready to grow and learn with you, I’m your guy. Let’s meet and see if we’re a match made in doggy heaven! 🐾💕 Interested in adopting me? Just reach out, and I’ll be here with a wagging tail and a heart full of love! 🐾🏡

Story
We got Kumon when he was a puppy and lived with him until he is 3 years old now. We are having a baby and simply don’t have time and energy for training him. Kumon has some aggressive tendencies at times and sometimes will bite others if he is unhappy. We hope to find him a home with experienced dog trainers who can help his aggressive tendencies. We don’t have the energy to train and love him the proper way and hope to find a good home for him.

Story
*Note: Mawooma is in a foster home in Vancouver. Background: Mawooma was rescued in September 2023 from a neglectful situation in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do. She was tied to a pole with little food or water and left under neglect. Despite her tough start, she adapted well to city life and noise. Currently, she lives in a condo as the only dog at a foster home in Vancouver. Personality and socialization: Mawooma has a medium energy level and is gentle and calm. She is good with people and comfortable around strangers, whether men or women, as long as they are kind to her. Mawooma is like a shadow to her foster, displaying remarkable intelligence and loyalty. When it comes to other dogs, Mawooma is generally fine with those who are friendly and gentle, but she isn't fond of hyper or bossy dogs. While she may be shy with new dogs and unfamiliar places, she is never aggressive and appreciates gentle approaches and gradual changes, usually adapting well over time. However, Mawooma won't be great with cats, and she has no experience with young children. Currently, she lives in a condo as the only dog at a foster home in Vancouver. Behaviors: Mawooma is a joyful dog who loves going for walks. She loves leisurely walks, isn't bothered by city sounds, and enjoys nose work games. She's generally well-behaved on a leash, though she can get a bit excited when she spots small animals. Aside from that, she has excellent leash manners and is a delight to take outside. Mawooma is also great in the car, OK with her baths, and is comfortable using the elevator. Initially, she showed some signs of separation anxiety. Ideally, Mawooma would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to keep her company. Health: Blessed with good health and no known food allergies, Mawooma is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Monthly preventative measures safeguard her against internal and external parasites. Ideal home: The ideal adopter for Mawooma is a patient individual who understands her need for gradual adjustment. Someone who works from home or is retired in a quiet household would be great for her. Mawooma will thrive with people who enjoy outdoor activities with their dogs. In return, she offers loyalty, gentle companionship, and moments of joy. Her journey from neglect to hope is a heartwarming story waiting to be continued with a loving family. ----------------------- For more info, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/mawooma/

Story
Location : Korea Adoption inquiries: wds3628@nate.com ▶ (relationship with dogs) : It takes some time to get closer at the first time but, she tends to get along well unless some dog tries to playing too much. She likes to hang out with their friends. ▶ (relationship with cats) : Not the severe hunting but, she is not friendly with cats. It is not recommended with the house where the cats are living. ▶ (relationship with people) : From the time of the rescue, she was on the alert but, not aggressive at all. She doesn’t come to you first, but she even doesn’t refuse to be touched. When she gets confident or strangers visit your house then she could bark at the first time. But she only barks without any other reactions like warning or other additional actions. ▶ (house trained) : outdoor defecation ▶ (walks on leash) : She can slowly do it well. At the first time, she feared cars but, now she is good at it. In the narrow roads, when the car or bike, motorcycle pass through, then she waits until the transportation goes. If you forcibly pull her, you must be careful because she would step back. ▶ (special notes) : She is domesticated while she spent more than one year with temporary protection family, but she is still afraid of people’s touch. She lives quietly and peacefully at home nowadays. There is no problem staying along with young children. She likes to listen to bird’s chirping and appreciating the scene of landscape while sitting on the deck. It is preferred the house with wide yard. I hope Meso meet the family who will take care and accept her at it is.
