The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi, my name is Asher! I’m a 2-year-old male Shiba Inu Mix, weighing in at a petite 12 lbs. My life so far has been a journey of survival, but now I’m ready to start a new chapter filled with love, kindness, and joy.  I was rescued from a tragic situation in Korea, where dogs like me face unimaginable cruelty and hardship. Millions of dogs are mistreated or slaughtered each year, and I was one of the fortunate ones saved by compassionate rescuers. They gave me the gift of life and a chance to experience something I’d never known before: hope.  After being rescued, I was scared and unsure of what to expect. But with time, patience, and care, I’ve learned to trust and open my heart. Now, I’m ready to leave my past behind and find a forever home where I can truly thrive.  I’m a gentle, sweet, and loving companion who enjoys being around people of all ages, including kind children. I get along well with other dogs and would love a family who can give me the affection and attention I’ve been missing. Whether it’s a stroll in the park, a cozy snuggle on the couch, or a car ride to new adventures, I’ll be by your side, making every moment special. What I Need: I’d do best in a home with a family who understands that rescued dogs need time to adjust and blossom. To make my transition smoother, we recommend working with our skilled pet rescue trainer, who can help me settle into my new life with ease. My Adoption Details: Fee: $1,495 (tax-deductible and essential for supporting future rescues) Includes: Spay/Neuter DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations Deworming and Heartworm testing Microchip Boarding fees, health certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle For safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. You can bring your own or purchase one from us.  When you adopt me, you’re not just giving me a new start—you’re helping save other dogs still waiting for their miracle. Your support allows Ginger’s Pet Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to continue its lifesaving work and provide critical medical care for animals in need. Contact Us:   Email  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  to request an adoption application or to learn more about me. Donations to help with vet bills at Greenwood Vet are always appreciated—they make rescues like mine possible.  I’ve come so far, and now all I need is a loving family to call my own. Will you be the one to give me the happy ending I’ve been dreaming of? January 24, 2025, 6:33 pm

Story
Buddy is an adorable Shiba Inu with a heartbreaking past. He grew up in a home where he was loved before, but unfortunately has had an experience of being abandoned, leaving him with a pain in his heart. Despite his past abandonment, Buddy is very loyal and forms a strong attachment to his owner. He is not shy or timid around strangers and he shows his charming and loving side to those close to him, especially to his owner. He is less interested in interacting with other dogs, and he has a natural instinct to protect his owner when other dogs approach. Because of this, you need to be careful in public places such as dog parks and be careful not to let other dogs around you get too close. Buddy patiently takes baths and will happily get brushed as well, and while he tends to pull on the leash excitedly on walks, he is currently in training and is expected to gradually improve. He can sometimes act selfishly with his toys so he needs an owner who can teach him the right behavior through training and reinforcement. Buddy, who has a jealous nature and a tendency to follow only his owner, should be raised in a home as an only pet. It is also advisable that he should be adopted by someone who understands the characteristics of Shiba Inu. He needs an owner who will form a deep bond with him through continuous training and love. If you are ready to welcome Buddy into your home, he will bring you special love and happiness. To see more videos:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyEuMiuW6Ww4Jl3J1CCMCIBINbfi-gsTN

Story
Yuki is a wonderful and intelligent dog who picks up things quickly and adapts easily to new situations. Yuki filled our home with joy and laughter when we first got him. His playful, loving nature made every day brighter, and he has always been a loyal companion. Yuki has an independent personality, so he does'nt require constant attention. He is content entertaining himself and is perfectly happy with his own company. However, with the relocation we wanted to find Yuki a place he deserves. We want him to thrive in a home where he can receive the love and care he needs. If you are looking for a smart, adaptable dog, Yuki might be the perfect fit. Please reach out if you are interested in giving him a loving forever home.

Quick Facts Name: Kyla Age: 1 year old approximate Gender: Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Shiba Mix Colour: Light brown Weight: 8.4 Kg Microchip #: 410100004144786 Health Check: Vaccinations including rabies, DHPPI, Corona, influenza, and kennel cough. Heart-worm test in August 2024 negative My Story Hello, future friend! I'm Kyla, a sweet little girl who was rescued in December 2023 as a puppy from the streets of Gonjiam, Gyeonggi Province, where I was found as a stray with my mother. Now, at just 1 year old, I'm ready to find a loving home where I can truly belong. With my unique appearance resembling that of a little fox, I promise you, I'm even cuter in person! Personality I have a gentle and reserved personality, which means I can be a bit shy, especially when I meet new people. At first, I may seem distant and take some time to warm up, but with a tasty treat in hand, I quickly show my affectionate side. It may take about 30 minutes for me to feel comfortable enough for gentle touches, and I might even hide my tail if I'm scared. But don't worry! I love snacks, and once you offer me one, I can't resist inching closer. My Social Side While I may not let you touch me right away, I promise that as I become comfortable with you, I'll happily accept your gentle touch, let you lift me, and even share sweet little kisses! I'm known for my delightful, girl-like cuteness, which shines through in everything I do. Learning from the other dogs around me has helped me become more at ease with people. I tend to be a bit shy around young children and can be startled by their sudden movements or loud noises. When it comes to other dogs, I enjoy greeting them but prefer to keep my distance during play. I can be a bit overwhelmed by high-energy pups, and I generally find comfort in the company of calmer dogs. My Energy Level & Walks I'm mostly an outdoor explorer who enjoys sniffing around during walks, but I also know how to relax and rest after some fun. I have a few unique traits that make me special, including a charming overbite and a mostly quiet nature. I rarely speak up and, when left alone in a kennel, I tend to be quite well-behaved. Last Message I need a patient family who can give me the time I need to adjust. Thanks to my caring foster family, I've learned a lot, but it may still take me a day or two to settle into a new home. I thrive in a safe and secure environment, and I know that with your love, I'll blossom into the wonderful companion I know I can be. If you're looking for a delightful little girl who will fill your days with warmth and love, then I might just be the perfect fit for you. Let's take our time getting to know each other and start this beautiful journey together! Videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lol04WH4DKI&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxqPyZSxzdToQhuuMbcv4cQ ##2260994##

Story
Jenny was rescued just in time from a kill shelter, and she’s ready to fill your life with love. From day one, she’s been the ultimate companion, eager to make new friends and share her gentle spirit. She adores people and welcomes strangers with open paws, letting them pet her and even carry her without a fuss. When it comes to other dogs, Jenny is polite and friendly. She enjoys the company of larger dogs and knows how to play nicely. However, if a dog shows aggression, she will stand her ground to protect herself and her loved ones. Jenny has a moderate energy level, making her the perfect blend of playful and calm. She loves outdoor walks and is a pro at leash walking, but she’s just as happy lounging indoors. This sweet girl is not a resource guarder with people, though she may growl if another dog gets too close for comfort. She rarely barks, making her a wonderfully gentle presence in any home. In the car, Jenny is a star—she does well in her crate and knows how to hop in and out with ease. She’s also potty trained and prefers to do her business outdoors. Jenny is looking for a loving family who can give her the attention she deserves and help her shine. If you’re ready to welcome a gentle, happy companion into your life, Jenny is the one for you! ##2260957##

Story
I'm Max, a delightful 4-year-old male Jindo Shiba Inu mix eagerly searching for my forever home. Background: I found myself in a City shelter around November 2020, wandering the streets. Thankfully, I was rescued just before being put down. Personality: I'm a people-loving pup with a heart as warm as a summer day. Meeting new faces is one of my favorite things, and I easily make friends with both humans and fellow furry pals. I'm ok with sharing my food with other dogs. I'm polite and greet unfamiliar dogs with a friendly wag and a sniff. Walks: While I might pull on the leash a bit (I'm just excited), I'm generally well-behaved during walks. I haven't had much experience with strolls, so I might need some guidance initially. I have high energy though, after a good walk, I'm more than happy to curl up for a relaxing nap. Interactions: I'm not a barker and outdoor potty breaks are my preference, so a backyard or regular walks would suit me well. Training: Having spent most of my early years in a shelter, I'm ready for some home training adventures! Patient guidance and positive reinforcement will surely bring out the best in me. If you're ready to add a splash of sweetness to your life, I'm the Mango for you! Reach out to the shelter and let them know you're interested in making me a part of your family.
