Flora is a very shy girl that needs someone who will take the time and has the patience to work with her! Once she opens up she will be a great dog who loves her person/people! Since she is so shy she cannot be in a home with kids and preferably with only one or two adults. She has stranger danger and does take time to get to know you. Flora will bark at strangers. Kevin is a friendly, sweet boy in spite of his past, where he was one of many that Milo took in from a hoarding home. Kevin's currently in a foster home and they say that he is sunny, sweet and full of happy energy. He is very playful, loves our kids, ignores the cat and other dog, and wants to be right next to humans all the time. He loves playing catch and largely ignores the other dog and cat in the home. He is a fantastic family dog. Although he's not completely house-trained yet, they are working hard on it! The fosters say: We are a little afraid of a foster-fail, so we're walking him a lot with the "Adopt Me leash to get him recognition. A home with another small or medium dog friend would be ideal for him! (He has always been with dog friends/family.) If you are interested in meeting Kevin, don't wait, send an application today!

Charlotte is a TINY Poodle mix, mostly Poodle but maybe some Chihuahua - hard to say as she arrived shaved down - her body is grey but ears black and wavy. CHarlotte is brave to the point of maybe foolish - but really a devoted, outgoing,adventurous little dog who is very secure in the world. Charlotte came up to the Milo Sanctuary soon after arrival with all the other dogs and barn animals/fowl from the hoarding situation we helped with. Expecting shyness and under socialized, but NOPE - this girl walks right in all five pounds of her - right past Great Pyrenees and many others - she does stairs, dog doors.... uses pee pads mostly or goes outside, someone attending to her more consistently will find her housebroken in no time.... she hops right onto laps, onto the bed, curls up... she rides in Kayaks, needs a life preserver for more extensive boating - but she is fearless and a lot of fun! Currently residing with Milo founder Lynne, until a dog centric, fun-loving home is found for this special little, adorable imp! She is not a do nothing but stay home lapdog .... she also dances and twirls and could learn tricks! She happily hikes... but watch out for hawks!
