Must live close in to RI This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need. We are all volunteers. MEET SWEET SHIHTZU-POODLE pure mix, in Rhode Island on March 8. He weighs 9.2 lbs and is fully vetted including neuter and microchip. Baxter is an active puppy who loves to climb on everything! He long legged and probably gets his climbing from the poodle side of him...He is loving, cuddly and would do best with a family to keep him active. Suggest you puppy proof your surroundings and take the valuables off the coffee table. He is a real charmer and when you meet him you will fall in love. We had to shave him because he was very matted when we secured him from a breeder dump. OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families. If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted.
