Story
Meet Leo! He is an 8 year old poodle mix weighing 12 lbs. This bouncy boy is an absolute doll and joy to foster. He loves everyone he meets. Another great love... toys! Leo carts his toys from room to room and if it’s a nice day, he’s carting them into the yard, EVERY ONE OF THEM! Not much is known about Leo before he entered rescue, but what a great break for this kid to catch. SRC took in Leo this past winter after he was found out on his own. He is now utd on all vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, chipped, and had a dental. It took him a bit to settle and come out of his shell, but with all that baggage behind him, he is thriving! He is a quick learner and loves to cuddle and please. He is housebroken and crate trained, but does not require one. He loves spending time in the yard and loves the companionship of other dogs. His best fit would be a home with another dog and a fenced yard. He would also do best with older children as he does tend to bark at younger children. I do think they make him nervous.
