Here is a heartwarming biography for George, the adoptable senior dog. George is a quiet and independent dog who is a certified couch potato. He is 10 years old, and is calm and collected - he's seen it all! He may not be able to run around and play fetch like a younger dog, but he loves getting his cuddle on with his favorite humans. He enjoys a nice slow stroll around the neighbourhood and taking in all the new sights and smells. George is a very sweet boy who would love to snuggle up on the couch with you when he is ready to. He would do best in a calm and quiet home where he can take naps to his heart's content. Unfortunately, George has some anxiety when being picked up as he prefers not to be carried around. He is good with respectful kids and dogs who leave him be and do not get in his face. He is very curious about cats but will not hurt them. If you think you could give George the calm and loving home he is looking for, he can't wait to meet you! George being a senior fella does have limited vison and hearing which contributes to his dislike of being picked up.
