NEWBIE ALERT!! Meet Sky! This sweet girl was posted on Facebook being given away and they reached out to us for help and we were able to secure a foster. She’s a super cute Shih Tzu mix! She’s around 1 year old and 15-20 ish lbs. She’s a super sweet girl with dogs, cats and kids. She does well inside. She will complete her vetting next week and will be adoption ready!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! UPDATE!! Meet Barney! This handsome boy was surrender to a local shelter! Barney is an adorable Shih Tzu. He’s 6 years old and 15lbs. Barney is super sweet and definitely a people dog. He clings to his person hard and wants to be with them at all times. He’s great in the house and does wonderful with kids, cats and dogs of all sizes! He is finally over a nasty bout with kennel cough and is officially adoption ready. Barney is utd, hw tested and neutered!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. UPDATE!! Gigi Reserved  Sweet Momma Grace and her 5 babies came to us from a local overcrowded shelter! Momma is 18 lbs and 2ish years old. Babies are around 4 weeks!! All have settled right in and are doing amazing. Mom is some sort of Shihtzu/terrier mix and the dad is unknown. The babies will be ready at 9 weeks old but can be reserved now with an approved app. Momma will be ready in a few weeks once babies are weaned and she’s been spayed. Get your apps in now on this sweet little family!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
