Story
Beauty is a shih tzu, born 6/11/18. She has spent her life in a commercial kennel as a breeding dog, but most of her puppies are black and they don't sell as well as other colors, so the breeder surrendered her to rescue.  Now Beauty can learn how to be a pet instead of pumping out babies twice a year. She is somewhat shy and reserved but very sweet and appears to be good with other dogs.  She has not been cat tested, although she doesn't pay a lot of attention to the barn cats here.  She is spayed, microchipped, has been heartworm tested (negative), is up to date with vaccinations and wormings, and has been dosed with Nexgard Plus for heartworm, flea and tick prevention.  She weighs 13 pounds 15 ounces. Caesar is an adorable little red and white shih tzu puppy, born 4/23/24.  He has AKC puppy papers.  He was born in a commercial kennel, then consigned to a dog breeder auction as a prospective stud dog.  Instead he was purchased into rescue so he can spend his life in a lap rather than in a breeder's pen. He is a sweet, active, playful puppy who gets along well with other pups.  He is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and wormings.  He has a small navel hernia, which may self correct or, if it doesn't, can be repaired at the time he is neutered. Because he is too young to neuter, he will be placed with a neuter contract.
