Story
Mama Fia went in today (finally) for her spay. Shelter listed her as a Shih-Tzu mix. I believe they listed her as about 3 but could be little younger even. She's very puppy like. Super playful and loves everyone. Didn't mind the bath at all, loves to go bye bye, loves bully sticks and toys. Originally pulled from Stanislaus shelter very pregnant and needing an eye removed. She was completely shaved down due to matting too. Shots (dhpp, Bordetella, rabies, flea treated, spayed, microchipped and eye enucleation surgery. Was groomed a couple months ago too.  Adoption fee is $400 Located in Modesto For application please email us at info@pupznpalz.org **must have breed, or similar experience as she is a high maintenance dog ****PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO CHECK STATUS OF A DOG...PHONE CALLS ARE FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY. EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS ON ADOPTION AS WE DO NOT GET BACK TO PHONE CALLS ABOUT ADOPTION. Shots up to date (DHPP), wormed, micro chipped, altered (spayed/neutered).   Adoption cost for this dog is $400 We are a rescue, and although we have a facility in Modesto most of our dogs/pups are currently being fostered  in or around our area. So please be willing to make the trip to see them if you are from out of the area. Story
Sonny is a handsome guy that will melt your heart! He is a 1-year-old, 8-pound, cream and white colored, Shih Tzu / Chihuahua mix ? Sonny was a stray at the Lodi City shelter when we pulled him, He has an adorable curled tail. Sunny will need a person who works from home and is with him most of the time. He is a great size to go everywhere you do! He is friendly but slightly shy. Sonny may need some leash training and house training. He is getting used to the routine of going outside with the command “go potty”. He keeps his kennel clean at night. He is a sweet, loving and playful boy. Sonny is scheduled to be neutered but we are looking for his home now. He is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Are you ready for some fun-loving company? Sonny is the guy to bring love and joy into your home! Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
