You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar. They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Murphy was born 9/4/24. He is the sweetest boy who loves toys and playing tug of war. He is excellent with children! He will probably weigh 12 to 15 lbs as an adult. He was surrendered from a store that closed in New York. There are no known health issues. Adoption fee is 950.00. He needs work on house training. Located in the south. Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Liberty is a gentle old soul, 14 years young, who enjoys the simple things in life - warmth, comfort, and plenty of rest. She’s a quiet presence in the home, spending most of her time curled up in her favorite bed, peacefully snoozing the day away. She’s not much for activity, as her hind legs are weak, but she gets by with a little help. She appreciates being carried outside for bathroom breaks, and if she needs to go, she will. If not, she’ll just settle in and relax until it’s time to come back in. She’s not a fan of car rides. Liberty does enjoy the occasional snuggle on the couch, when she’s awake enough for it! Liberty may be an old girl, but she’s full of love. She’s looking for a quiet, caring home where she can continue to enjoy her golden years with kindness and comfort. Chewy is 9 years old and still very playful and lovable. He loves going on walks and getting new toys. He does have behavioral issues that we can no longer manage. He also has separation anxiety so ideally his new owner would possibly work from home or maybe is retired. He wants to be in same room with you at all times. He loves other dogs, and he's good with children, but in moderation. He gets overwhelmed with them after awhile. My hope is his new owner will have the time and patience to manage his behavioral and anxiety issues better than we can.

I have a elderly friend that is going to live with her children, due to health issues. She has two very sweet dogs. One is a chichuahua about 10 years old the other is a Shih Tzu about 10 years old, They are both very sweet female dogs that have been spade. The owner saved them from a pet shelter several years ago. It would be great if someone could take both dogs considering they have been together for the last 8 years. But they would also be fine alone.
