Meet.MILO a Shih tzu/Havanese mix. This playful boy is 10 lbs and a year and a half old. Tons of energy and super playful🐶 so he needs an active household with someone around. He gets along great with dogs so a friendly playful young dog is necessary.. Loves his walks and potty trained. Good in car and friendly with people he meets. 🥰 Would be good with older kids. Neutered, up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, bordetella and full exam. Very healthy and has a microchip. Friendly with everyone and independent, very well trained. Up to date on all his vaccines and other medical needs. Minor arthritis treated with basic medication. Medical records are available. Messi will be adopted directly from his current owners. Chesed Rescue will be accepting all applications and background and vet checking them to ensure a proper placement.   There is a very good reason why this adorable, beautiful Shih Tzu has been at the rescue for over 5 years. Geoffrey David is a special boy, who needs a special person to welcome him into their life. His behavior suggests he was abused from a very early age. When he arrived, this young boy was very untrusting and a defensive biter. After many years of receiving consistent love, care, and compassion, and watching the other dogs enjoy human attention and affection, Geoffrey David has made absolutely remarkable improvements.             Geoffrey David is now happy, relaxed, and seeks out attention and petting.  He has become much more animated and loves to play with toys. He also enjoys the company of other nice dogs and gets along very well in a group. Geoffrey David still does not want to be picked up, held, or go on a leash, but this will probably also change with more time. When he has reached his limits of petting, he usually lets you know with a little growl, or just walks away.             Geoffrey David is about 8 1/2 years old and about 14 pounds.    Fuji is a gorgeous Shih Tzu who has been at the rescue for over one year, and we believe it’s his turn to find his wonderful, forever home. He is a terrific boy with a happy, fun loving nature. Fuji is very friendly and loves to spend time with people, hanging out, cuddling, and receiving belly rubs. He also loves to go for walks, and enjoys playing in the yard.             Fuji is about 7 1/2 years old and about 14-15 pounds. He would do best with a single parent, who is an experienced, compassionate dog owner, who can be sensitive to his needs and not push him beyond his limits. Life is one big party for Lexi and Missy, and they can’t wait for a new family to join in. Lexi and Missy are extremely friendly, sweet, and happy, young girls, full of energy and love. They get along incredibly well and love to romp in the yard together and, especially, play fetch. Lexi and Missy adore human attention and affection, love to cuddle, play silly hand games, and give the sweetest, little kisses. Their exuberant spirits are contagious, and it’s almost impossible not to smile and have fun when with them.     Lexi is a Shih Tzu mix, about 3  1/2 years old and 13 pounds.
