**NO YOUNG KIDS*** Meet Hershey!  He's a 6 yr old, 13 lb, Male, Shih Tzu. His mom became ill and could no longer care for him. Hershey is such a SWEETHEART and LOVES HIS PEOPLE! He will SIT IN YOUR LAP WHILE WATCHING TV, AND SLEEP CUDDLED UP NEXT TO YOUR LEGS IN BED! Hershey is still being re-trained to potty outside due to his mom's illness and was trained on potty pads.  So 90% outside and 10% on potty pads for now and sometimes will mark but foster mom catches him to direct him outside. He would love to have a fenced yard to run around in with a companion dog in the home. His Perfect Family will have a fence, a fun, small companion dog, no kids, and people who will let him Snuggle With Them!   If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Hershey’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
