You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Miss Muggles is a 16-pound approximately 7 year old female Shih Tzu / terrier mix that came to Tired Dog Rescue after being found in the bathroom of an abandoned home.  She's settling in sweetly with my dogs and has been just the best little girl.  She gets along well with my dogs, occasionally joining in on their games. She's never had an accident in the house, she lets me know to let her out if I've failed in my duties, and she's currently learning the doggie door.  At first, we thought she might be blind, but with medication for her dry eyes, they have cleared up. She may have poor vision, but she navigates the steps of the house by obviously watching them. Miss Muggles loves to go for short walks, walking well on a leash.  She will bark when someone comes to the door but will stop on command and otherwise is not a barker. She mostly likes to nap and though she's not been a cuddler, she loves to lie next to me when we are on the sofa.  If you would love a low maintenance perfectly behaved sweetheart of a girl and can offer her a forever home, she's the one for you! His dental work is scheduled for 8/26, and we've sent off lab work to check for possible Cushing's disease. We should have more details by the end of the week. Tom is an 11-year-old, 12.4-pound, neutered male who has had all his shots, rabies, and microchip. He’s heartworm negative and gets along with everyone—people, dogs, cats, and we’re confident he’d ace it with kids too! Fully housebroken and treat-motivated, Tom is ready to star in your life. Prince is from New Orleans , La; born on November 16, 2017 and truly a food motivated Shih Tzu! Super smart and knows he’s basic commands. Prince has had human interactions since the age of 2 weeks old. He loves humans and truly is affectionate, doesn’t like to be mishandled, and will vocalize that along with when needed to potty, would like food and/ or water. He likes to be at a distance from other dogs, curious but alarmed. Reason for looking for another home is, because I’m about to move.
