Story
Baxter won’t be winning any races, but he is sure to win your heart. Baxter came to us unable to walk. He has worked hard and with the help of cold laser therapy and the staff at Tomahawk Animal Hospital, Baxter can now stand and take steps. Baxter would LOVE a home with another dog to play with. He loves playing. We are looking for a special home that will embrace Baxter’s uniqueness. He is 8-10 years old and 17 lbs., a little shaggy mix. Story
Meet Slinky. Slinky was born on 1/31/24. She had a rough start in life with her mama having been found on the streets prior to being brought into the shelter. Mom was a Shih Tzu mix (we think) and has been adopted, so now her baby is ready to start her new life. Slinky, a 9-pound scruffy girl, is playful, outgoing and sweet. She loves everyone and is great with other dogs. She has gone through a lot of transitions from the shelter to foster home, but she is thriving now and can’t wait for her own family to love.
