Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Chase My Heart. You can call me Chase! I am 1 year and 8 months old, and I am a shih tzu/toy poodle mix. Not sure if that makes me a shi-poo, or a shoodle? If I get to choose, I pick Poo tzu. I weigh in at a hefty 7 pounds of fur and fun! I am SO handsome. Unfortunately, my coat was very matted when I came to my foster mom and I ended up needing a pretty close cut. But you can see from my last photo that when my fur is long (and well cared for) I have darling curls. I am really a very sweet boy, full of shenanigans. I love to talk to my people and have been known to hump my friends – it’s a dominance thing, and now that I’m neutered, I will likely quit. But if you have other doggies in the home, be aware that I will (playfully!) tell them I’m the boss…until these hormones clear out, anyway! I do get along with all the doggies – from teeny tiny 5lb ones to my biggest FOSTER brother, who weighs in around 70lbs. I like to play and would enjoy a doggie playmate. I have not been around kids, but at 7lbs, I am small enough to be manhandled by little ones, and small dogs generally don’t love that. Let’s say nice kids 10+ for me. I have not been around cats, either, but I don’t think I would be mean to them. Maybe just curious.   I am good in my crate, great on leash and in the car, and doing well with my potty training. I am just a sweet, young boy who will add so much love and joy to your life – at least 7lbs a day! If you think I could be the boy for you, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 19, 2025, 4:41 pm

Story
Meet Marlee, the cutest little Shih Tzu ball of sunshine you’ll ever meet! At about 6 years old and 10 lbs., she’s a pocket-sized bundle of joy, always ready to join your world and sprinkle it with paw-some vibes! Marlee is a toy fanatic—if it squeaks, she’s on it! She adores playing with her furry friends and is totally down for adventure walks, strutting her stuff on a leash like a little diva. However, the car ride is her ultimate thrill ride! She behaves pretty well, except for her determination to take the driver’s seat (literally… on your lap)! Just a little more training and she’ll be the perfect co-pilot! When it comes to food, Marlee’s on a special diet (Hill’s) that helps her bladder, but let’s be honest—if given the choice, she’d totally swipe a cheeseburger! With a sprinkle of encouragement, she’ll happily munch on her kibble. If you have multiple dogs, she should be fed separately just to be sure everybody gets what they’re supposed to have. When it’s nap time, Marlee’s all about the cuddles. She’s a professional napper and wants to be as close to you as a shadow. Oh, and while she’s crate trained, her ultimate dream is to be your bedtime snuggler! Marlee thinks having a dog sibling who loves to play would be the BEST! If she’s an only child, no worries; just promise to play with her, and she’ll burn off that fabulous energy like a mini tornado! Marlee has pretty good potty habits; only one accident in her foster home. Smart and adventurous, she could totally rock a dog door! But remember, she’s also a curious explorer, so a secure yard is a must to keep her neighborhood expeditions in check! So, if you’re ready for a fun-loving, snuggle-crazy, adorable little lady named Marlee, she might just be the fluffy ray of sunshine you’ve been looking for! Marlee has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). For more information, call/text Cathy at 801-598-0771 or email cv-sandy@hotmail.com.

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
