This gentleman is named Gordo. A Shih Tzu mix, he’s 8 to 10 years old weighing only 10 pounds. Due to his petite size and age, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. Gordo has a wonderful personality of happiness and love. His foster says that he’s “very loving and sweet.” He’s fine with other dogs as well as his foster’s cat. You’ll love him, and he’ll love you. No doubt about it. Meet Chloe! Chloe is about 6.5 years old and weighs 15 lbs. She is a Pekingese mix. Chloe came to our rescue when a local breeder could no longer care for all of her breeding dogs. Chloe is very timid and not used to being touched, but she is making strides in her foster home. She will need another dog in her forever home. Chloe has a great appetite. She is wonderful with the resident dogs in her foster home. Chloe is not house trained, but has been doing well with pee pads. She spent the majority of her life in a crate before coming to our rescue. Chloe would do well with dog savvy kids 11 years and up. Chloe is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from Canine and Kitties Rescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $375.00, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check.
