Story
A sweet and affectionate cat who thrives on love and attention. While he generally gets along with other animals, he can be territorial, especially around food. He hasn’t had any major conflicts with other pets, but he would do best as the only cat in the home to ensure he gets all the love he deserves. He’s very loving and attentive, and I’m in no rush to rehome him—I just want to ensure he finds a happy, caring place to live. I just cannot give him this.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Introducing Beautiful Smokey! Smokey is a Siamese mix with a gorgeous combination of blue, white and cream colors. She loves attention and her favorite spot for receiving pets is under her chin. Smokey will be shy when you first meet her, but give her time to warm up to you and she will be demanding affection. You will quickly fall in love with this sweet girl. Smokey enjoys the friendship of other cats and would do well with another cat to cuddle with. As with all adult cats, if you already have a cat or are getting 2 new ones for your family, be sure to introduce them slowly so they will become wonderful bonded friends. The other cats up for adoption that Smokey has been living with are Smudges and her sisters (bonded pair) - Carmella and Osita. She has grown up in a household without children and would probably do best in a home with kids who are at least about 12 years old. However, if your children have experience with cats and have a gentle nature, then she would well with them. Smokey is sure to add love and sweetness to your household.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    Our adoption fee is $175       If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Cat Interest Form on AZRAIN.ORG and, if you are selected as a prospective adopter, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet. Story
Approximate Date of Birth: 07/01/2022 Description:   I'm the loveliest fluff you ever have seen. I will follow you everywhere to see what you are doing. If you are working, cooking or cleaning, I will always be next to you. I will cuddle with you on the bed, if you allow me. I’m the best sidekick you will ever know. I’m open to having more siblings but a slow introduction is best. I might hiss at first, but I won’t hurt anyone. I’m not scared of strange people visiting the house. I will come running to greet all guests. Side note: I have a congenital illness that is out of my control. I cannot eliminate feces (poop) by myself. I need to use Miralax daily to help me empty my bowels. When I can empty my tummy, I’m a big happy girl running around. Please be aware that I cannot control my bowels and may have accidents. Please understand I will need your help to keep me clean and happy. Cleaning my own backend has proven problematic in the past and caused me lots of pain (ask my foster-mama for the story) and trust me, I don't want to go through that again. Even though my foster-mama loves me very much, is very patient with me and cleans me all the time she would love to help me find a place to call HOME. I want my own home where all (or most) of the attention would be for me. Words to Describe Me: Loving. Active. Curious. Goofy Favorite Place to Sleep: Same bed as you. But most of the time I will be in the kennel.  Favorite Toy: Pet collar with specific bell sound. Perfect Day: She loves roaming around the house checking everything out. Kitty's Likes: Chin scratches, head petting, play time. Kitty's Dislikes: Getting her booty cleaned. Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Yummy treats. Favorite Treat: Tiki, Squeeze up, Churu. Job Title in Foster: Bathroom Attendant When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: Dandelion (my body looks like that when I'm on my back) Good with Cats:   Likes cats given a proper introduction.  Good with Dogs:   Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met a dog). Good with Children:   Loves all children. Companion Animal: Not required.  Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match. Applications can be submitted on our website at  www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply. PetSmart Adoption Centers:    For more information on our locations,  visit  https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations .     November 4, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Kismet marches to her own drummer. She is 9 pounds plus and hasn't been advertised, since is only now acting adoptable. She is beautiful, though, and alpha personality. A patient Siamese-lover will have a great companion. Since we thought now adoptable, updated all shots and complete dental (needed). Vet personnel loved her and thought her very sweet. She is a dark Siamese, doubt purebred, and ear-tipped though walked into rescuer's house on her own. She doesn't love other cats, but gets along. Call Susanne at 480-694-9998 with questions.
