Story
Hi, I am Meezers. You may wonder how I got that name—well Meezer is an affectionate nickname for Siamese cats which are known for loud, low voices, so it fits me perfectly. You see, my beautiful coat is because I am a torti point Siamese. I can’t tell you much about my previous life but I do know this. I am about 12 years old and am very happy that I came to PACC a few months ago and began being fed every day, and got some medical care I need. I have been in a couple foster homes so I know some things that I like, such as a home where I get calm, quiet attention with my adult humans and I can snuggle next to them while they read, watch TV or sleep. (And I know some things I don’t like-- cats, dogs, and please, DON’T PICK ME UP. And it probably is best not to have small children around.)Because I am a senior kitty, I like to eat smaller meals of special can food throughout the day. And sometimes I will eat special dry food. I may need to be on some meds moving forward, but I take them without a fuss.If you are cat saavy and love “meezers”, please arrange to see me.

Story
RuPaul aka Ru **SPECIAL NEEDS, READ FULL BIO**F, 6 months RuPaul is a sweet little diva who definitely lives up to her name. She is a big love bug and wants to be in sight of her person always, following you everywhere. Her favorite thing in the world is her little mouse toys, which she bats around and adorably chatters at them. Speaking of that, Ru is extremely talkative. She meows and chatters at everything, and will yell at you if she wants your attention or to be held. However, she also lets you know when she’s done being held. Ru also LOVES to make biscuits, she holds her blanket in her mouth and kneads her little heart out. She will be happiest to cuddle up next to you while she bakes, and purrs louder than any cat her foster has ever met.  Ru came to her foster without the use of her back legs as a 3 week old kitten. She has never known differently and was likely born that way. The only thing that she really needs help with is going to the bathroom. She needs her bladder manually expressed 3-4 times daily, and her bowels expressed 1-2 times daily. Although it can sound daunting, it is easy to learn and for the right person it will fit easily into a daily routine! Her ideal home will need to be prepared to not leave her alone for more than 8-10 hours at a time max, or have multiple people who are on board with learning to help with her bathroom schedule.  Don't let her not using her back legs fool you, she is unstoppable and will remind you of that constantly. She can climb to the top of a cat tree no problem and chooses to ignore her furniture stairs to get on the bed- she would much rather climb up the blankets. She will surprise you with her speed and will make you laugh constantly with her zoomies.  For her comfort, Ru's forever home will have either no other animals, or very laid back ones. She does love to be the center of attention. Ru has not had much interaction with dogs, but could adapt to those who would more so leave her alone and respect her. Any kids in the home should be old enough to understand her needs and when she wants to be left alone. RuPaul is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped.
