Story
Hi thank you for taking your time to read this. Ginger is roughly 3 years old now. My good friend and co- worker found her outside of her apartment complex in Long Beach. She thought she belong to someone, but she asked around and she realized she had no home and she was pregnant. Eventually, with lots of efforts, she was finally able to bring her into her home and care for her and her kittens. After caring for them. I took them in to help her out. I got ginger spayed and two of her kittens, spayed and neutered. They are about a year old now. Ginger likes to sleep with you and she can be very shy at first. Careful how you rub her by her tail it’s sensitive sometimes and she might nip at you. The 2nd picture is Luna and she’s the one in the middle of the floor. She likes to take it easy at times. But still playful and likes people and kids. She’s very sweet. She is spayed and she had her shots when I got her spayed but she might need her other ones.

Story
Larry, Harry, Perry, Jerry, Gary and Karrie arrived as sick kittens with giardia and respiratory infections.   Giardia was treated and they have all tested negative multiple times. The respiratory viruses, which most cats have been exposed to, continues to cause some of them to get sick from time to time, sometimes requiring eye medication. Our vet also mentioned cats in a shelter environment are constantly exposed and constantly stressed - that causes respiratory infection flare ups. Once these cats are adopted into homes usually the symptoms go away, although occasional flare-ups may still occur. Gary looks most like Larry – almost all white – but with orange around his nose and lighter blue eyes. Gary is the shyest one of the group. Larry is the smallest of the group. He is almost entirely white with steel blue-gray eyes, with one exception: his light orange striped tail. Harry is one cool black cat, complete with black button nose and green eyes. Harry can also be a little shy but warms up quickly and likes attention. Perry is all mackerel tabby. He has strong black and tan markings and a very discernable “M” on his forehead. Perry is sweet and likes attention but can be a bit shy at first. Jerry, an orange and white tabby. Friendly and very playful, Jerry craves human attention and interaction. He has golden eyes and a pink button nose. Please submit an application to adopt one of the cats at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet the selected cat (or cats!) and get to know him (or them!) a bit. Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies visit our cat adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.
