Plumb is one of over 30 cats from a local hoarding situation. Because he was never socialized, he has been slow to make progress, and even though he's very quirky, he's finally ready to take the next step and start searching for his forever family.  Plumb is an active and energetic cat seeking a cat savvy family. He is NOT GOING TO ACCEPT BEING HELD OR PETTED upon first meeting. He has cultivated a lot of curiosity and interest in bonding with people, but he's still on edge when physical touch is initiated and needs small and steady doses of social interaction.  He would love someone who would let him take on the world at his own speed. Playing with wands, catnip dates, bird watching, laser pointer time, freeze dried chicken snacks, and crinkle balls will be the catalysts of bonding for Plumb. He may be sight impaired as he is frequently shocked when he is first touched which may have contributed to how long it's taken him to adjust to the idea of people as companions.  Plumb is great with other cats and tolerates dogs. He would be best in a home with older children.  Plumb comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Leonore is a beautiful and fearful dilute tortoiseshell Himalayan mixed cat that came to Murci's Mission from a local hoarding situation. She has an estimated birthdate of 09/13/2020.  Lenore will be adaptable with other cats, and with friendly dogs, but due to her prior living arrangements, she recieved almost no social opportunity and is very shy. While she is an absolutely stunning cat, she will need a minimum of a few months to fully adjust to a new living space, and she will likely always have a wallflower type personality.  Lenore would do best in a quiet living space and as a companion for another cat. She would be a perfect apartment pal as long as you had a nice window perch for bird watching.  Please do not apply for Lenore if you're not willing to allow for numerous months of acclimation time and if you require a cat to display social skills upon meeting.
