Story
Rocco is a very talkative and loving cat. He was our baby before we had kids and is jealous and attention hungry. We would rather he could live with someone who has the time to give him the love he deserves. He is very beautiful and so sweet.

Story
Solstice is an amazing and beautiful kitten! She is very affectionate and playful. Solstice tested positive for feline leukemia on intake to Helping Strays. While she is healthy today, it is impossible to know how much time she has before her quality of life could be affected. It could be months or years. Regardless of how much quality time she has, we think she deserves a loving home. If you think you might be the person to give her that home, please contact Helping Strays. Solstice needs to be an only cat or go to a home with another feline leukemia positive cat. Feline leukemia is not transmissible to dogs or humans. Here is a link to a feline leukemia fact sheet from Tree House Humane Society that may be helpful (you'll need to copy and paste)https://treehouseanimals.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/FeLV-Fact-Sheet-Public-1.pdf If you don't have another cat, or if you have a feline leukemia positive cat, and would like to meet her, we would love to talk with you.Solstice is nine months old.Location: Foster homeSoltice's adoption fee is $100. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. Please submit an application if you are interested in adopting. www.helpingstrays.org

Story
Hello, I'm Bobbie. I'm not your average feline. I'm independent and smart, always finding ways to keep myself entertained. I do have a bit of a feisty side, I'll admit. I may bite if you don't respect my space, but isn't that true for all of us? I believe in setting boundaries, you see. I'm not the type to demand constant attention, but I do appreciate a good chin scratch now and then. Adopt me if you're looking for a cat with character, one who can keep you on your toes and make every day interesting. I was from a licensed breeder and came into contact with only a couple people my whole life. My foster has worked with me diligently to get me to a place where I am confortable in my routine. Once I am adopted, I will take a a good amount of time to get used to a new home and my surroundings.  If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an application online at polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt ##1538530##

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Viola came into rescue with her brothers and sister, Hamlet, Macbeth and Viola, at only four weeks of age. We were stunned by how social they all were from the very beginning, even after losing their mom tragically. Viola has acted as the spokesperson for the group, never being afraid to share what’s on her mind. She purrs when you pick her up and enjoys a good lap. Viola is looking for a home with her sister, Juliet since they can often be found playing and cuddling together.
