Story
Dobby is a very special cat who means the world to us. We adopted him from Morocco when he was just a tiny kitten, and he came into our lives at 6 weeks old. From the beginning, he’s been full of energy, curiosity, and playfulness, and he’s brought us so much joy. This decision is truly heartbreaking for us, but we’ve realized that our home isn’t the right fit for Dobby. We have two older cats who are struggling to handle his high energy and strong personality, and it’s created a challenging environment for everyone. Dobby deserves a home where he can truly thrive—a place with lots of space and people who can match his playful spirit and give him the attention he needs. Dobby loves people and has so much affection to give. He’s litter trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. We’re looking for a home with someone experienced with cats, who understands his energetic personality and can provide the right environment for him to be happy. We love Dobby more than words can say,

Story
Meet Parker, a sweet but shy cat who is looking for a quiet home where they can feel safe and secure. They came from an overcrowded environment, and while they may be timid and need support in day to day life, they have potential to blossom with a patient and understanding adopter. A calm, low-traffic home with a someone who understands their need for space and time to warm up would be ideal. New people and environments can be overwhelming at first and adopters should expect to see very little of them as they are settling in. We often can’t predict how a shy cat will be after they settle in - some become comfortable around their family and choose to spend time with them by sharing the same space or allowing some petting, while others continue to prefer to hide when there’s any commotion. These cats generally prefer to spend their time around other cats and will likely enjoy the company of a confident cat already in the home. Our staff can help prepare adopters to welcome these cats into a quiet home, but patience and understanding will go a long way with them.If you think this cat could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by Northeast Animal Shelter. We have open adoption hours 11:30am-5pm daily - no appointment or application needed. You are welcome to enter our cat rooms during open hours. Staff and volunteers will be happy to assist you!

Story
*** Seeking Foster-to-adopt *** Meet Skye: The Ageless Wonder with a Whole Lot of Sass! At 17 years young, Skye is living proof that age is just a number—she's still got plenty of spunk (and opinions) to share! This stunning Siamese mix (best guess) is as elegant as ever, with mesmerizing eyes and a purr-sonality that commands attention. Her blood work is sparkling, and while she’ll be getting a dental before her official adoption, she’s ready to charm her way into a loving foster-to-adopt home. Skye's looking for a cozy spot where she can rule with grace, receive endless head scratches, and remind you daily that she’s still got it. If you're ready for a wise, witty, and whiskered queen to grace your home, Skye’s bags are packed! Foster her today and get ready for a lifetime of love with this golden girl. 🐾👑 To meet this cat, fill out our simple prescreen (link below), and a volunteer will reach out to help you schedule a time to visit our PetSmart Millbury adoption center! https://bit.ly/3yRGpMD
