Story
Pugsley (Siamese) and Lurch (tabby and white) are bonded brothers from St Thomas. Pugsley is very affectionate, and his brother Lurch is skittish. They love each other very much and we know that Lurch will not do well without his brother. These boys are a year old (6/23/23) and are felv/fiv negative, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are in a foster home with both other cats and dogs. Adopting both boys will make them very happy and well as there is a reduced adoption fee when you adopt two! Please consider adopting these two handsome boys... they will give you unconditional love.,https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Cat

Story
Look at this gorgeous boy! Calypso (birthdate 2/1/24) is a lilac point tabby Siamese mix with life blue eyes! Calypso us from St Thomas- He and his sister were strays and were taken to the only shelter on the island but were turned away. Fortunately, the caretaker reached out to a new non profit foster based rescue on island who took them in, got them vetted and was able to send Calypso to Pet Search! Calypso is felv/fiv negative, fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He is a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and will sit on your lap and purr. Calypso is living in a foster home with both dogs and other cats. He would love to be adooted with his travel companion Mariposa Applications available at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Cat

Story
Lucy is a sweet cat that is well socialized with people other cats, but also loves her alone time. She just needs a good spot to relax and recharge before coming out for more petting time. She would do well alone with an owner who can give her plenty of attention when she wants it, as well as in a household with pets already. I’m only looking to rehome her because my 1year old daughter is allergic to cats ☹️

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Looking for a derpy goof to keep you company? Check out Horchata! Horchata came to TCR a few months ago not in the best of spirits. This poor guy was suffering from immense oral inflammation and his periodontal disease was one of the worst cases our vet has yet to see. After two dentals and several rounds anti-inflammatory treatment, Horchata is like a whole new man. Once a stinky, smelly, drooly, sometimes-cross-eyed mess with his tongue perpetually hanging out of his mouth, he is now a sweet, friendly, purry (albeit still sometimes drooly and cross-eyed)... handsome gentleman! Horchata doesn't take too long to warm up to people, although he can be a little head shy. He enjoys being petted and will head butt or rub on you for more affection. If you move too quickly, especially around his face, he tends to shrink away from your touch, but we can't blame him, as we can only imagine how long he was walking around harboring pain in his mouth! Horchata doesn't seem to mind other cats, but he would likely also do just fine as a solo kitty. He'd probably do okay with older, respectful kiddos, but young children would likely make him a bit uneasy. This sweet boy has a hearty appetite and you would never know he's had dental work done by the way he eats! He can definitely be bribed with treats and snacks, and he also has a bit of a playful side that we suspect with flourish in his forever home! Horchata is estimated to be about four years old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Are you interested in giving this beautiful cat the spoiled life he deserves? Please apply today!

Story
Introducing Spring! This little girl arrived at TCR with her littermate, Winter, and has been fostering with two other kittens. Spring loves to climb on her foster mom and request pets and snuggles. She has the sweetest little purr when she wants attention. She is beautiful, patient, kind and the sweetest velcro-kitty that you will ever meet. She also likes to be picked up and held. She loves churus which she shares with her friends. She is really a perfect kitten. Spring will likely adapt quickly to a new home as she is quite confident and not very fearful. She would love to be adopted with one of her foster friends, especially Winter or Autumn. She would also do well in a home with another young cat that she could be friends with. She met an older dog in her foster home and was very curious and not at all scared. She could likely do well with a cat-savvy pup, with proper introductions. She hasn't met young children, but we suspect that she would do fine with respectful kids of any age. Spring is about four months old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She does have a mild case of nystagmus (a vision condition that results in involuntary eye movements) but it does not seem to bother her! Please consider adding this sweet kitten (and a foster-friend?) to your home!
