Precious Unique Calm Underclass Hero is a stunning Siamese mix with delicate light points and a sweet face you'll fall right in love with. Her one eye makes her so uniquely beautiful - the bright blue hue draws you in and you just want to give her all of the love! Hero is a sweet girl who is a companion-in-training. She enjoys attention and petting, but is cautious about it. She is perfect for someone who is willing to gently and patiently help her to open up as she relaxes. We think Hero is only waiting for her own beloved human - and home - to bloom! She enjoys her alone time, napping in different spots throughout the house, so if you need to leave her on her own during the day she'd be ok with that. When you come home and settle in with her, she'll have big purrs all queued up for you. She'll rub her fuzzy face on your hands as you pet her, so sweet! Don't be surprised if she drools just a little, she can't help it, she's happy! Hero is an agile kitty, she can navigate and pounce around with grace. Having one eye hasn't kept her from leaping around the room - and landing on all fours! She's got it all figured out. She just needs a loving home! Would you be Hero's hero? Underclass Hero has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. Pearl is a beautiful seal lynx point siamese with crystal blue eyes.  She was found abandoned in Houston and resuced by a local family who then contacted Austin Siamese Rescue.  She came to us with her four kittens and was a wonderful mama.  She is currently living in a foster home with other kitties and dogs.  Pearl has lived with her foster family to learn to be a loved family member.  Prior to being rescued, Pearl did not have a good reason to trust people.  She has slowly copied some of her foster siblings to learn to like attention and petting.  She is comfortable with dogs and meets other cats comfortably.  She has made kitty friends in her foster home.  In the past few weeks, she has finally started to approach people for attention and petting, but she can still get anxious. Pearl will be so rewarding to help as she learns more and more to love and trust people.  You can tell she really loves petting and attention but is still anxious.  She will be able to join a home with other pets.  She will need patience to settle into her new home but she will bond closely to a person when she finally has her own family to cuddle and connect with. ##1988082##

Bean 4 will be your best friend. This cuddly Snowshoe loves to be with his people and he loves talking to you in conversation. Not sure how he is with dogs , he would be good with children. Curl up with you for a good book or follow you around the house. Bean 4 also loves food.  Bean gets along with most cats.  He did great with a kitten and with his 2 current feline house mates. ##1994844##

Meet the super sweet and adorable Athena! She is a curious girl who is easily won over with neck scratches and treats. Her favorite thing to do (besides getting loved on by people) is sit in a sunny window and watch the birds outside. She is a laid back, yet playful young cat that gets along well with other cats, kitties and dogs, making her the perfect addition to any family. She's content with spending the day lounging around, playing, and then curling up for a nap (or 4)! Athena would love to have another feline companion to keep her company but would also do well as a single cat in the right home. Since this sweet girl came to us, she has learned how to trust people again and really come out of her shell. She came to us from the streets of Houston where she was found as a companion to her mom who was pregnant once again. While the mama cat and her kittens have all found their forever homes, we are still searching for the right adopter for Athena.  Want to meet Athena in person? Dashi and her daughter Miso II have been surrendered by their owner and are looking for their forever home with a special family.   Dashi is a 4 year old Lynx Point Siamese that had a rough start in life. She was abandoned to survive the outdoors while pregnant. She became a part of the ASR family shortly before giving birth in 2021 to 4 beautiful kitties. She was the greatest Mom to those kitties her fosters had ever seen and even took in two orphaned kittens who were looking for a Mom.    Dashi can take a little time to trust but once she has warmed up to her new enviroment, she is a real gem. Sweet and affectionate, she seeks pets and belly rubs from her humans and loves to snuggle up at bedtime. She is not a lap cat but is very loving. She tolerates children but would do better with older children and adults.    Dashi is FIV positive and FIV-positive housecats rarely show any symptoms of the disease and usually live long, happy lives. FIV is not spread by casual contact. There is no medication or special treatment needed FIV positive kitties.  ##1967222##

Baby is a talkative and beautiful flame-point Siamese mix cat, who enjoys calm and predictable environments where he has lots of room to roam and explore.  He approaches doors like a challenge and is curious about what's behind or beyond everyone.   He's active and energetic, interested in (and into) everything.     Baby wants attention, but is unsure of himself in new situations, which makes him wary of new people. He may hiss or act out with swats or biting if he becomes overwhelmed, until he establishes trust and safety.  Giving him space when he becomes stressed but interacting with him frequently will help him get there. He does best if you let him be in control; he will come to rub up on you and invite that touch.     Play is best in the beginning with wands and throwing toys. When he plays, he loves catnip, anything you can throw that makes noise, and his cat tunnel that he can hide in and run through.    Baby needs space to explore, and a home with a catio or protected outdoor area would be ideal for this interested kitty.     Baby needs new people to take their time to establish trust with him, and he will reward you ten-fold with affection!  Once he trusts, he loves being around his people, and he likes chatting to them throughout the day with his adorable meows. When he feels safe and comfy, he will curl up on your bed, come for pets, and give purrs.  Baby lives in a home with his foster-friend Marmalade. He enjoys the company of another chill kitty, and they get along very well. Baby’s ideal forever home would be with a cat savvy person or people in a low traffic/lower energy home. A home with his friend Marmalade would be ideal, but he would likely come to enjoy another kitty as well, with time and a good introduction.   Baby would do best in a home with adults only who can give him time and space to feel secure. He blossoms into a true love bug once he feels comfortable.    If you love the quirky ones, admire the beautiful ones, and speak fluent "cat" then you could be lucky enough to adopt Baby.  He is worth it! Rhonda is a very pretty 4 month old Siamése mix kitten with blue eyes. She was abandoned on the street in Guadalajara

This is Gretel. She is very friendly and loves to talk to you. She can be a tad shy at first but warms up quickly. She is also really good around dogs. She's very, very cross eyed and has some difficulty focusing most of the time and is goofy when she tries to play. She does like to play but limited. She's a lap girl and usually favors men. She will drink from a water fountain if one is provided.

Carrie 3 came into our program when she was found at a feral feeding station in Houston. She strolled up to the feeder, and it seemed to be pretty obvious that she had been dumped there, and was definitely not feral!  Carrie spent the first couple of weeks in her new foster home in a walk-in pen, where she was able to observe the other cats and dog in the house while remaining safe. She has since come out of the pen, and has been integrating herself into the family. She is even used to the dog now! She can be picked up and carried around, but she isn't too excited about it and wiggles her way out of my arms. She will take time to adjust to her new home, but she is worth it! ##2121724##

Amelia and her siblings Austin and Abigail were rescued while they were still bottle babies.  They are VERY outgoing and as a result will not hold still long enough to take their pictures.  Now that they are getting the best care they are starting to turn more of that Siamese color.  These kittens will be so beautiful when they are adults.  All three have loving personalities and are extremely friendly.   In the pictures I tried to show some of the contract in color so it would be possible to see the white vs the cream that will continue to get darker.  These guys are happy, getting healthier everyday and will be wonderful companions.  In the second picture I caught her just as she was licking her lips but it showed her marking the best.   For any questions please email cbrunsting@sbcglobal.net   ##2137670##

Gypsy is an aboslute sweetheart of a momma kitty, who arrived into the rescue from fellow rescuers in Houston. She came in with the name Gypsy, and it inspired a theme! She is the proud Momma of the Carnival Litter: 3 females- Carnival (white and black), Confetti (white and calico) and Carousel (calico) & 3 males- Somersault (slightly bigger orange tabby and white), Cartwheel (orange tabby and white), and Ringmaster (yellow tabby). She also welcomed in a single foster of mine, Razzmatazz (tuxedo male) who was a bottle baby and badly needed the socialization! He also sorely missed the love of a momma cat, as he had been seperated from his own mom. She took him in with open arms and no hesitation, she just immediately started grooming him! Miss Gypsy would love to find a forever home of her own, and I think with proper intoductions, she could get along with another adult cat- though right now, she loves kittens! She is a more petite lady now, but she may fill out a bit. She likes to chirp at me and she is quick to purr.  ##2147285##
