Story
MEET MAUI This boy, what can we say...He is 19.5 pounds, he literally thinks he is a kitten! He wants to lay on you, get all the loves, gives hugs. He is very SWEET, his love can be a bit extra sometimes due to his size! Maiu has an eye condition, Eosinophilic Keratinitis and requires eye meds twice a day eye meds, due to his size you do have to be cat savvy. He does ok and gets a treat after- never any hisses or bites just wants to not have eye meds lol. These meds will likely go down to once a day after next recheck but if he doesn't get them he looks like something from Pet Cemetery and it damages his eyes. He is under the care of Eye Care for Animals and his recheck will be covered when it's time! He is very playful (like a kitten) but will stand over other cats like Jabba The Hut which most don't love..., considering he's three times their size! He does do well with cat savvy dogs with a proper slow intro. He is a GREAT kitty and we have been working on his extra-ness to get him ready for a home. I told him he is NOT a circus cat and too big to lay on necks! He disagrees! Lovingly, foster mom

Story
MEET TASIA (*must be adopted with her best friend Benjamin Button) Tasia is a very shy and sweet girl learning how to have fun. While Tasia gets nervous being picked up, she loves a good shoulder massage as much as she loves playing with her best friend Benji. Tasia is very motivated by play and often follows Benji's lead. Tasia will also say hello for a Churu treat! Tasia loves a window perch and stretching out in odd positions for sleep (including using Benji as a pillow). Tasia is learning how to get more comfortable and confident with people, and will make the sweetest addition to a patient family! Benji and Tasia love to play together, groom each other and sleep together. They frequently like to stay close to each other, even if it is for a small kitty wrestle mania. These kids would do best in a home without small children. They have not been around pups but may be ok with proper slow intro with a very mellow, cat savvy dog friend.
