Story
Meet Abby & Daisy, a bonded pair of female love bugs who will do better adopted together. Abby is a Shi Tzu was born approximately June of 2010 and Daisy a Rat Terrier born approx. May 2010. They have lived their entire lives together. Abby is more on the independent side and somewhat hesitant personality wise. She loves long naps with her head propped on her dog bed. She gets along with other dogs but may take a little while to fully warm up. Daisy is really the companion she prefers to play with. She gets so excited when her foster parents get home every day and does a cute doggie dance when they arrive! She will require regular grooming. Daisy is a friendly attention-loving dog who enjoys curling up on laps or laying right beside her people. She plays well with the small breed dogs in the house, even roughhouses with a young foster pup. She has the energy level of a much younger dog and loves life! Both girls are potty trained with a dog door, are trustworthy left alone in the house and sleep on their own bed together at night. They would do best in a quieter household with either adults or calmer older children. They would not do well in unpredictable loud environments. These two lovely girls will bring joy and companionship to the lucky family that adopts them! They are a bonded pair looking for their family to spend their golden years with, Could it be yours? Story
Pretty little Miss Harper has finished raising her babies and seeks a home of her own! We guess her to be a Shih Tzu mix born approximately 2/28/2020. Harper loves all people, stranger danger doesn’t exist in her world. Her tail wags so fast every time she meets someone new. She loves attention and cuddling with her humans. She shares a home with young children and loves to wake them up with kisses in the morning. She loves her toys and can play fetch all day, but she's always ready to snuggle on the couch with her person. She's potty trained and does great on walks. Though she's an amazing pup in so many ways, she also struggles with separation anxiety and sharing with other dogs. If she is left alone for more than a few hours, she will do her best to find you, even if it means scaling a fence or digging her way out. Because of this, we ask that she go to someone who will be home with her most of the time. She is picky about her dog companions, so if there are other dogs in the home, they will need a proper introduction. Fully fenced yard is required - no chain link as she’s a climber! Story
Born approximately November 28th 2019, Bartlet is a small male mixed breed (we think Lhasa Apso mix). Bartlet is a fun, sweet boy with a lot of energy! He loves his people and his foster siblings. He enjoys playing with toys, chewing on Nylabones, and food in general. We are working on his leash walking, but he gets better every time. He loves cuddling with his people. He will make some lucky person a wonderful companion. Bartlet came to us with a cherry eye which you can see in some of these pictures. Mikey's Chance was able to have it fixed with the help of our wonderful donors. We are seeking a home with a securely fenced yard and another playful canine companion.
