Story
Hi! My name is COH Winter. I am a 4 year old female Saint Bernard Mix. I look almost identical to my brother, Beethoven. We were found running the streets together. My brother has been adopted and now it's my turn! I am an excited, loving and loyal companion and I absolutely adore everyone I meet! I love going on walks and generally just love being around the family. I am happy ALL the time and I'll show you with my hugs and wagging tail. Come meet me this weekend and let's go on adventures together! We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Please find our application at lovejoyfoundation.org when you come to an event please bring that filled out in hand with you. You can find our application at Lovejoyfoundation.org. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.

Story
Benny needs to be an only dog... a great match would be a loving "Saint Bernard savvy" adopter looking for a fluffy love bug & willing to devote time, continued training & leadership in exchange for limitless snuggles, love & devotion from Benny. Handsome 2-year-old Benny has a long list of very admirable qualities! He behaves perfectly at home, does not counter surf, sits & waits for his meals & is not a heavy drooler. A mellow, affectionate boy, Benny is content to stay quietly by your side if you work from home as the only dog. Although friendly with some dogs, Benny is sometimes "dog selective" & we feel he should be the only dog at his new home. Benny looks forward eagerly to his daily walks but won't require an intense amount of exercise. He rides well in a car & is not destructive. He sleeps through the night & is housebroken & neutered. If you are interested in Benny, please complete an adoption application on a laptop or desktop ( not a cell phone). https://www.sunnysaints.org/our-adoption-process.html

Story
Tiffany is an almost 4-year-old petite, spayed female, who is up to date on vaccinations. She is house trained, walks well on a leash, rides well in a car. She has a lot of energy, has been going on 5-mile hikes on the weekends with her foster family, and still has some energy to burn. Squirrels are fun to chase, and open front doors are interesting… because of this, she consistently needs to practice recall, which she currently does well with, but consistency will make her better! She does well with other dogs her size. Smaller dogs she can react to, and slow introductions are a must. She does have two foster dog sisters that she lives with, and occasionally will try to dominate, but she responds to corrections well. Once she knows where home is, she can be protective. So slow introductions to people entering the home is also a must. The perfect home for her would be someone who is experienced with dogs and reads body language well. She is currently being fostered in the San Pedro, California area. If you'd like to know more about her, or better yet, want to adopt her, please fill out an adoption application at: https://www.sunnysaints.org/adoption-application.html or email: info@sunnysaints.org

** BONDED pair - Need to stay together ** A good Samaritan found these two wandering around; took them in, did the needful to try to locate their owners to no avail and reached out to Sunny Saints to find the perfect home for them. They are dog friendly, potty trained, need work on leashing training, but again, completely bonded, they don't like to be out of sight of one another, even sleeping next to eachother. These girls are on the smaller size, and very sweet with people. Please consider opening your heart and home to these girls. They are currently being fostered in Hemet, CA Please fill out an adoption application by going to our website: www.sunnysaints.org/adoption-application.html

Story
Blue is a good boy, with some work, he could be a GREAT boy. He can be dominant with other males. He is great with handling, he doesn't mind you checking his ears, mouth, feet. He is a strong boy and needs some work with the leash. Would do well with an experienced person who would love to take the time to find the diamond in this ruff!

These pups are in Thousand Oaks, California too!

Story
Courtesy Post: Please email animalarmyla@gmail.com for more info. Meet Cjay- Goof, derp, lover of life. Cjay’s loving, loyal, funny – he’s a tongue flopping, trotting next to you kind of bestie. He’s a great hybrid dog who loves to enjoy the great outdoors and go on walks, play ball, bike ride and hike. But he also is a chill couch potato who likes to cozy in and watch TV. Everyone who meets Cjay falls in love with him – he’s one of those dogs who doesn’t lack for personality haha and keeps you laughing. Cjay’s not the right dog for everyone and that’s ok. But for a family who are strong leaders with a kind heart, Cjay is the PERFECT pup. In the words of his trainer: “Cjay’s life reminds me of an old childhood movie All Dogs Go to Heaven, a story about redemption, love, and second chances. He wasn’t always the big teddy bear he is today. In fact he was the complete opposite – rough around the edges shaped by fear and survival where fighting was his only instinct, a life he never chose but was forced to live. But somehow, through it all, he learned to love. Now, he’s like a kid who never outgrew his favorite stuffed animal, he’s always seeking connection and giving his whole heart. When I look at him, and see through his droopy eyes, I see a second chance at life, a world where it means to be kind, to trust, and to find joy in the little things. I never really thought much of it, but when I see Cjay run like the wind on his morning bike rides or go barreling into the bushes in the open fields, there’s something very poetic about the way he lives. It’s always the small things that make him happy, the unlikeliest of places like finding a patch of grass and rolling around like it’s the greatest treasure in the world. In those moments, he reminds me that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s in the simple and honest things that show the true meaning of happiness that show even the deepest scars can heal, and even the roughest beginnings can lead to something beautiful.” But what’s incredible about Cjay like his trainer so eloquently says, is that in spite of everything he’s been through, his joy for life outshines all. And what’s unique about Cjay’s situation is that he has already done the work and is a super well trained dog. No need to invest in expensive board and trains, we’ll teach you what Cjay already knows and provide continued support for consistency, but he’s home ready thanks to his willingness to learn :) He’s more than earned the stability and ease and comfort of home and family Cjay’s willingness to learn and hard work have made him SO ready for a home. The only bright side of being in left in limbo is that Cjay was left at first in a great in depth board and train program for over half of the past two years (and is brushing up on his skills anew now) and is a super trained dog with a strong skillset. When he’s out, people wherever (even at the mall which is an overwhelming place for all of us!) remark on how good he is. He is an excellent listener, he is super duper smart and he has done - the - work! Cjay loves ball, oh boy oh boy oh boy, he lovessss playing ball. He also loves early morning bike rides or long walks. What a guyyyyy! He knows “place” and is trained not to sit on the couch. Unless you want him to sit on the couch in which case he would be thrilled to join the fam ;) Cjay needs a dog savvy home to be his advocate and know his past doesn’t define him and he deserves the happiest life. He will need the continued structure of maintaining his training which isn’t hard, it just takes someone who cares to give him consistency and set everyone up for success 🙂 Everyone who meets Cjay falls in love with him. As such, he has a whole little team invested in his future ready to help his new family. His current trainer will provide training sessions and ongoing support so you know what Cjay knows :) And we will cover Cjay’s vet care for life! All he needs now is a family to love him forever Please email animalarmyla@gmail.com for more info.
