Story
Meet Rilo, a young, sweet and cuddly friend who is always ready to explore the world with his curious nature. His bravery is admirable, and his loyalty, unmatched. Though he may be a bit shy at first, he quickly warms up to both people and pets. Rilo is a star pupil when it comes to being housetrained, and he's also very good with cats, dogs, and older kids. His protective nature makes him a wonderful addition to any family, as he will always keep a watchful eye on his loved ones. Rilo should be adopted because he's not just a pet, but a companion who will fill your home with love, joy, and a sense of security. His sweet nature and adaptability make him the perfect addition to any home, and his love for life will surely bring a smile to your face every day. Unfortunately, Rilo has Kidney Disease which is a lifelong illness. He is currently on a prescription diet which he will need the rest of his life. Rilo weighs 107lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 05/01/2022), and his adoption fee is $305. Rilo has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Story
Lena is a two-year-old, 52-pound Anatolian shepherd mix who was surrendered along with her ten four-month-old puppies, resulting from an unneutered German Shepherd next door. They were loaded up and on their way to the shelter to be euthanized that day, and we were able to get all of them. They are now in boarding. Lena is about as sweet and gentle as you can get. She is great with people and other dogs and kids and even seems OK with cats. If you would like to foster to adopt Lena, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com and apply. ##2135199##

Story
King is a four-year-old, 76-pound mastiff mix brought into our vet clinic and asked to surrender. They had only had the dog for two days and had gotten him at a clear-the-shelter event where the dogs were given away for free. The dog was suffering from heat exhaustion and was limping badly, so the vet took him, hoping they could find a place for him. After calling several rescues they work with no luck, they called us. We had a volunteer in the area, and they stopped by the clinic to meet the dog. Immediately, you could see what a sweet and gentle guy he was. He looked hot and tired, and it was discovered that he was limping because his pads were severely burned from walking on hot asphalt. The shelter had done most of the vetting, including surgery to fix an eye condition called entropion. We had an available foster who loves this breed, so we decided this would be his lucky day. King has found his new lease on life and has acclimated seamlessly to his foster homey. He is calm, great in the house, seems good with other dogs, and is affectionate. If you would like to foster to adopt King. Please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com and apply. ##2146016##

Story
Hey there! I'm Marmaduke, your future best friend and the sweetest pup you'll ever meet. I've got a big heart and an even bigger love for water-especially splash pads! There's nothing quite like cooling off and having a blast in the water. I've also discovered that I can jump pretty high, though I'm still working on controlling that enthusiasm.I'm all about the hugs and head scratches. If you're up for a cuddle, I'm your guy. Just give me a gentle scratch behind the ears, and I'm in heaven. I might get a little excited and try to jump up for a better hug, but I'm learning how to keep my paws on the ground.I'm looking for someone who's ready to share lots of love and maybe a splash or two. If you're ready for a sweet, affectionate companion who's always up for some fun, then I'm your pup!I qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I'm the perfect fit for your family!
