Story
Bernie is an overgrown puppy and about as sweet as can be. He gets along well with a variety of dogs. Sometimes he is unsure of a larger, boisterous dog but with time, he will become more sure of himself. He will need some room to run around and play - a fenced in yard or a dog park (great for building confidence). Bernie is seeking the perfect match of a fun-loving family or an active single person. He will be your best friend.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Bernie's adoption fee is $275.00. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=416LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Meet Teddy Bear! 🐾🐻Teddy Bear is a 5-year-old, 130lb St. Bernard with a heart just as big as his head! This gentle giant is as lovable as they come—loyal, sweet, and always ready to snuggle.Teddy is a laid-back, mellow boy, but don’t let his calm nature fool you! He still loves to play, especially with his favorite squeaky stuffed toys. When he’s not carrying around his beloved stuffies, you’ll find him lounging and enjoying the quiet life.Since little kids and babies tend to make him nervous, we recommend a home with older children (12+). But when it comes to furry friends, Teddy is as social as they come—he gets along well with dogs of all sizes and even does great with cats! One thing to know—Teddy Bear drools… A LOT. But trust us, his unconditional love and goofy personality make up for every single droplet! If you’re looking for a big-hearted, easygoing, and affectionate best friend, Teddy Bear is ready to fill your home with love (and maybe a little slobber)!Thank you for showing an interest in our pets. We can never guarantee the breeds of the animals. We do not DNA test. Please feel free to call us with any questions.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Justin is a big, sweet, friendly adolescent who loves people and mostly loves dogs. He is very good in the house, has never chewed anything he shouldn't, is well house trained, and is very playful.  He does like to counter-surf, however. We have introduced  him to our dogs carefully; he is friendly and wants to play, but can be food and toy possessive.  He seems to be getting much better with time. He's learning to look for treats while on walks instead of pulling — and also that he doesn't have to bark excitedly at people and dogs he sees! He would do well with an owner experienced with working on positive training methods to help him learn manners and how to be calm with new experiences. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. January 29, 2025, 4:51 pm
