Meet Hagrid! Hagrid is a big ol’ sweetheart and a true gentle giant at 100 pounds of love and sloppy kisses. With his mild and laid-back nature, he’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm and loving dog. He’s about 5 years old and a Great Pyrenees/lab mix. His foster got his dna test done!This big boy enjoys following his favorite person around and being part of your day-to-day life. Hagrid seems to get along well with other dogs, but may be better suited as a loyal solo companion. Hagrid needs a loving family that is willing to provide additional care for him in the future if need be. He has been diagnosed with a MRSP skin infection that may require ongoing care and medication throughout his life to keep him itch free and comfortable. Although MRSP can be treated and cured, there is also a possibility that ongoing treatment may be required. Hagrid is currently responding to his treatment and is a happy, go lucky boy! Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
