We took Moose in from an accidental litter that was taken from their mother too soon and not given the proper care. Since then he has received the proper care he needed, has a clean bill of health, and has grown by leaps and bounds! While we know his mother was St Bernard, we do not know what breed his father was. As he has gotten a little bit bigger, we are pretty sure he is mixed with a smaller breed. He knows how to sit, lay down, and give a high five. He loves meeting new people and is great with other dogs! He is potty trained and sleeps through the night. We have loved helping this little guy get a better start and cant wait to find him his forever family!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bubba! His story is pretty scary and sad. His foster got a call one evening that he was running on a very busy highway. He was with another dog. But that dog took off and unfortunately was hit and killed a few days later. But thankfully a sweet lady and man were able to keep Bubba safe till his foster got to him. He was a rack of bones. He was loaded in ticks and fleas. Had a nasty ear infection and also missing hair from all the fleas. He was just clearly not in great shape and not well taken care of. Bubba is the sweetest boy you will meet. He has the goofiest personality. Before he came to us, he didn't even know what a leash was, so he is still learning how to walk on one. He has made some huge adjustments with it though. He is kennel trained. He does good in the house as long as he is taken out regularly and on a good schedule. He will just rest his big ole head in your lap and let you pet him forever. HARTSVILLE, TENN - Bruce ("Big Daddy") is 7 years old (DOB November 2016) UTD and neutered and Lady (Bruce's daughter) is 6 years old, UTD and spayed (she is the dog with the white face). Both dogs went to vet 07-11-2024 and got their blood work and vax including rabies and de-flea'd. Both were tested for heartworm. Both weight about 137 lbs. They both love being inside in the AC with their foster. Bruce is so strong, and sweet. He will run up to you, fall on the floor and roll over on his back for a belly rub. They are the 2 sweetest dogs. No trouble at all. They eat well and love attention. They are bonded loving pair that needs a loving home. Rescue will pay for transport and grooming appointment. Bruce gets along with all animals and people, Lady can be aggressive with other animals and a little shy but warms up quickly. They LOVE the 3 cats they lived with and now at the fosters with all the barn cats AND a batch of kittens. They are so good. They were great at the vet office. Good with children too.

HARTSVILLE, TENN - This is Rusty. HE IS JUST A PUP. He is 13 months old. He is a St Bernard, Great Pyrenees, Anatolian mix. At his 1 year check up he was 117lbs. He is up to date on his shots and neutered. He is great with kids and he gets along great with our other dog. He does bark at new people and other dogs until he smells them. He loves to run and then takes a long nap. He would do best with someone that has the time to give him lots of attention. He thinks he's a lap dog and loves to cuddle! Family doesnt have a fenced in yard due to living on 200 acres. Family works crazy hours and they do not have time for him to exercise and play with other dogs etc. Family is looking for a home that has time for this sweet loving very healthy puppy, a fenced in area/yard (or the equivalent). Rusty is free to a qualified loving home that will get him Neutered asap! He is ready. BTW - Rusty was adopted off of a farm that had ducks, cows, horse and barn cats. However, he hasnt been around any cats since. He is a happy go-lucky boy.

  Hercules is looking for someone to be their hero.  This 3 year old 170 pound Bull Mastiff is massive and definitely the size of a small pony.  He is a lazy, affectionate big OOF that needs someone bigger and stronger than him to make him their sidekick in life.  Being the only dog would be so good for him since the former owner never socialized him with other dogs.  He assumed that Hercules might be a little aggressive or assertive and so we just don’t know for sure.   Maybe a female dog would be fine but we doubt a male would be a good idea in the future home.  He is not great on a leash.  Noone took that time to really train him but it still is doable with the right person knowing how to do it.  He is housebroken, crate trained and he is not destructive in the house.  This boy will make you laugh, make you want to protect him (even though he is big) and he will love you unconditionally and who in the world would ever break in to your home!?  Goodness they would be insane.   This boy loves people though….but if you don’t know him then he could be a nice guardian.   A fenced yard would be the perfect environment for everyone.  If you qualify, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
