Story
Hanky Panky is one of those Saint Bernards that we will never forget for the rest of our lives. He has the temperament and look that every Saint should have. He is not a young boy, but he is not an old man. He has a beautiful short hair coat. We think he is approximately 5 years old. Hanky Panky loves attention, will walk right by your side, knows how to sit and is great with all dogs. He will make you smile every day. He weighs 135 pounds, and he is heartworm positive. St Cloud’s rescue has already neutered him, and he is on the slow kill method for the heartworms. This will take between 6 months to a year to complete. He is having some intestinal issues that may be due to his medication for the heartworm treatment. He is house trained. He does have a sensitive stomach and we are working to find the food that works best for him the best. He should weigh about 150 pounds when he is healthy and eating properly. He loves toys but he can’t have toys because he has a tendency to eat them. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. Nana is the mother of Sullivan, the 7-month puppy. Both were found to be strays. Nana weighs approximately 110 pounds and has a beautiful rough coat. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations and heartworm negative. She does have an extra long tongue which she was either born with or it was due to trauma sometime in her life. It does not affect her ability to eat or drink, she just has a very long tongue. She is approximately 2-3 years old, has a great disposition and is ready and looking forward to finding a wonderful new forever-home. Bella is a gorgeous senior, full Saint Bernard that was adopted from us many years ago. She has had a wonderful life until now. Due to a family situation, they have surrendered Bella back to us though no fault of Bella’s! She weights approximately 100 pounds and is housetrained. She is a sweet, kind and gentle pup that is easy to care for. She is also current on all vaccinations. Roger is a 2-year-old, gorgeous ½ Saint Bernard, 1/2 Great Pyrenees. He is heartworm negative and neutered. He is approximately 115 pounds and has a gorgeous coat. He is good with other dogs, and housetrained. Roger loves to counter surf but other than that he is a perfect dog that would make anyone a great addition to the family. Blake Shelton does not sing or play the guitar, but he is as handsome as his namesake. Blake is now approximately 8 months old, cute as can be, but he will require training. He is 85% housetrained and completely poop trained. He is current on all vaccinations and just got neutered this week. He was an owner surrender due to his owner not being able to spend time with him due to having 2 jobs and going to school. He has a beautiful wavy coat and is just starved for attention. Miss Honeybun is a senior Saint Bernard that weighs approximately 95-100 pounds. She has had a hard life and has been used for breeding all her life until we rescued her. She is very sweet, loving and well behaved. After all she has been through, she still thinks people are wonderful humans. When you look into her eyes, they almost speak to you. She responds to most verbal words like a human. She is almost magical. Honeybun is looking for a home where someone will give her the love and attention she has never had. She is low energy and will just sit and let you pet her and love on her. She is good to other dogs that we have introduced to her. She is spayed and is recovering from bloat surgery. We have had her stomach tacked so she should never have to worry about bloating again. She does need her rabbi shot and which will be done prior to her leaving St. Cloud’s Rescue. She is heartworm negative and will be current on all vaccinations before she leaves St. Clouds. Hi there! My name is Champ! I am a 1-2 year old male Anatolian Shepherd mix that weighs approx. 71 lbs. I was found off S. Goliad in Rockwall on 3/30/25 and never reclaimed. So now I am available for adoption and looking for a place to call home! I am a sweet boy who walks well on a leash and is super friendly with everyone I meet. I do prefer my new family be home more often so we can spend lots of quality time together. Being with my people is my happy place. I am interested in all kinds of toys and enjoy a snuggly blanket. I love to run and go on adventures! If you have another dog at home a meet and greet is always suggested prior to adoption to make sure we get along before going home. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, and boosters to date. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopter. Hi! I'm Smokey! I'm an approximately 8 month old, male, fawn Anatolian/Lab mix who weights about 40lbs. I was brought to the shelter on 04/02/2025 with hopes of finding my furr ever home! Shelter staff is not sure what happened in my prior life, but I arrived with a severe injury to my right leg. The injury resulted in an infection that refused to heal. The decision was made to amputate my leg so that the infection did not get worse. I am working hard to adapt to my new way of life and am getting the hang of walking on 3 legs! In spite of the trauma I've endured at such a young age, I am a very affectionate, silly, and playful guy who is looking for a fresh start. I get along with other dogs but a meet and greet is encouraged if you have another pet in the home to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125.
