Buddy is the ultimate definition of a gentle giant! This lovable Saint Bernard adores belly rubs so much that he’ll drift off to sleep mid-pampering. He thrives on affection and attention, making him the perfect cuddle companion. With his calm demeanor and big heart, Buddy’s only wish is to shower you with love and be your loyal, snuggly sidekick. Buddy would do fine with children any age in household. Buddy would do fine in household with cat friends. Buddy should do good with other canine friends given proper introduction. It’s in the dogs/puppies best interest to be placed into their furever homes in a timely fashion. All household members must attend the meet and greet. Freya is a sweet two-year-old who has a mostly calm demeanor but is also always up for playing with her doggy companions or going for a walk. She's a cuddly girl who enjoys human affection and treats. She loves to lay her head on your lap and look at you with love in her eyes. She mostly plays well with the other dogs she has been around but prefers to be the alpha dog. She is good on a leash and doesn’t stray too far away in the yard at her foster home. Her charming blond fur with black markings and endearing "Yoda ears" make her even more lovable. She is gentle with kids and has even gently nuzzled up to a visiting baby. She has quickly learned to use the dog door and to sit, demonstrating her intelligence and eagerness to please. While she's generally good with children and other dogs, she can become anxious in some overly stimulating environments. We do think that once she settles into a family of her own, this will improve. She is eager to love and be loved. With patience and understanding, we believe Freya will thrive and become a most cherished companion. She simply needs a loving home to help her adjust to her new life. After saying good bye to her puppies she is ready for a life of her own.

Casper is a sweet little guy who loves playing with his furry foster siblings. He’s catching on quickly to the routine of going outside with the resident dogs for potty time, but also does well with pee pads when foster Mom isn’t attentive enough. Give him a squeaky toy or a bone to play with and he’s in heaven. Casper gets the zoomies when he’s outside and loves exploring, especially with all this white fluffy stuff that tastes good! Casper will be a large boy, so plan for a future with a 60 lbs. love bug.

Story
Meet Slade, a smart, charming, 5 month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing 43 pounds. He’s neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on shots, and has a soft, beautiful coat. Slade loves snow and has been great with house training—no accidents, and he sleeps through the night in his kennel. He’s friendly with all dogs, loves people, and is very smart. He already knows how to use a bell on the door to go outside! Slade enjoys squeaky toys and bones. He lives with two other dogs and might be better in a home without very small children due to his size, and because he’s still learning his size. With proper training and introduction he’d be fine! He’s still a puppy but growing fast. Slade will likely be a good fit for someone with a more active life style and possibly room to roam. 📍Being fostered in Arkdale, WI ⏳Been waiting 1 month to find his forever home 🏁My adoption fee is $350 and you can see more about me & the rescue at www.Lastpawrescue.org .
