Story
Hank needs a home and he would love to meet you! He is loyal, sweet, snuggly, spunky, curious, and playful. He loves to be outside, play fetch, and go on walks. Hank is also lazy and loves naps, cuddling, and looking out the window. He is leash trained, house trained, can use a dog door, and is good in the car. Hank likes daycare. He is social and loves to be around people. He cannot be left in a crate. He would love a fenced yard, and needs a place to play. He responds to positive reinforcement, knows basic commands and is a quick learner. While in our home, Hank and our older male dog have not gotten along. Hank is good with our female dogs, however he displays food/resource guarding with other pets, and he would do best if he is your only pet. He may also do best in a home without young kids because he can jump, but he has been nice when young kids have visited. Hank is a great dog and we hope to find him a home where he can adjust and connect with his owner and have a great life.

Story
Meet Neill! This extremely sweet boy was brought to Royal Vista for some large wounds to his head/ears. The other dogs in his home had attacked him multiple times and his previous home could no longer afford the surgeries to fix his wounds, so they elected to euthanize him. One of the staff at Royal Vista asked them to relinquish him instead and they agreed. We were contacted to see if we could help him, and of course, our director couldn't say no. His foster says that Neill is a total couch potato and dramatically asks for permission to jump on the couch by sitting next to it and sighing! He enjoys spending time outside just wandering around and sniffing. He's a curious boy who loves to observe the world around him. Despite what Neill has been through, he is curious and respectful of other dogs. His foster thinks he is interested in playing with other dogs, but his activity is being restricted to make sure his ears heal properly. From his amazing foster: " We have had Neil for almost a week now and his personality just keeps getting better! He has so much love to give even though he has been through so much. Neil is the definition of a house hippo. He would love a home that has enough room on the couch for him to lay right on you, of course he will just put his head on the couch and give you his puppy dog eyes until you say he's allowed! As of now, walks can be a bit overwhelming for him so we take him on short ones where it is not busy. As his confidence grows I know he would love an evening walk with his people. Because of his past with being attacked by other dogs, we are taking it slow before introducing dogs yet, but he has showed no signs of fear and seems as though he wants to play!! Yay! He is crate and potty trained! He will make quiet pig noises in the morning because he wants to be let out to cuddle with you before you get ready for the day! He knows sit, shake, down and can do a kangaroo hop! He also knows to help you when putting his harness on by raising his paws! Neil will need someone who can be patient with building his trust, respect his boundaries, give the best cuddles, continue to help him gain confidence on walks and in public! But boy his personality is the best ever! And boy is he loyal, he is the best Velcro dog! As his ear infection gets better I'm sure his personality will grow even more!! We love this boy so very much! ADOPTION FEE: $375 We are a foster-based rescue and do not generally have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at rotating locations! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Meet Fawn, a sweet 1-year-old pup who is hoping to find a loving foster or forever home. Fawn is quite nervous and shy, and the shelter environment is unsettling for her. She longs for a calm and understanding family who can help her overcome her fears and build her confidence. Despite her shyness, Fawn has a gentle and loving nature, and with patience and love, she's sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you have a warm and nurturing home where Fawn can feel safe, she would be forever grateful to join your family.August 19, 2024, 3:58 pm

Story
Red Fern Friends, we desperately need your help This Senior girl is Miss Carmen She arrived in Colorado so long ago looking for her chance at redemption; for a loving human to help build her confidence and to know that she is safe and no one will hurt her.  Carmen has spent the majority of her life in BOARDING instead of a home 5 to 6 years with at least 2 years homeless. It breaks our hearts that we are STILL looking for this sweet senior her human. She had a foster to adopt for a few months recently that due to no fault of Carmen’s returned her due to unexpected life changes and not being capable to care for her.  Talk about heart shattering to try to explain to this sweet girl that our high hopes of her forever spot were no more after waiting so long.  Carmen NEEDS a Dedicated Foster to ADOPT. She will do best in a calm home environment with structure and love. No other dogs, cats, or children. She is fully vetted and current on all shots. All supplies can be provided to get going with fostering to ADOPT this sweet soul.  Please, help us with our underdogs that have been overlooked. There are no bad dogs, but there are to many that have been let down by humans and that is our Carmen. Boarding is anywhere from $35.00 a day and upwards from there. Boarding is not meant to be a permanent solution because the dogs do not thrive rather, they regress in heartbreak.  She needs her missing puzzle piece and I just know they are out there looking for her too.  Redfernanimalrescue.org/adopt #Fortheloveofcarmen#Seniordogsrule ##1853279##
