Looking for the bestest boy??? I mean the very bestest boy? You are not going to find a dog better than Charlie. He could not be more amazing!! Take a look and see for yourself then come back to read more. https://youtu.be/SWlxCwZOVyA We think he is a pitbull/black mouth cur, but we aren’t really sure, so we just call him our Texas Special- the very best breed. Charlie weighs 60 pounds and is about 5 years old, and is “that guy”. You know- that guy at work or at a party that everyone loves? He is being fostered in Houston, Texas (available to transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast) with 8 small dogs. He has spent a good deal of time hanging out with the foster's 65 and 120 pound granddogs. He loves all the dogs! Here are just a few of the things that make him a great dog! +He LOVES people. Men, women, tiny humans… you name it, he can’t wait to greet them with a wiggly butt and big smile. +Charlie can sit and shake. +Walks on the leash like a champ. He loves to go for walks and stays by your side. When he sees people or other dogs, he watches them and wags his tail, hoping they will come say hi! +Housebroken! +Quiet in the crate +Treat motivated and SMART= so easy to train +Cuddles on the couch and lets you pick the show +Rides great in the car, making him the perfect sidekick to run to grab a morning coffee, take the kids to school or to grab a late night ice cream treat. +He’s a great listener and won't share you secrets Charlie is the bestest boy! In the play group at the rescue, if another dog needs correction (so far he has not needed it) he gets really intimidated. He needs a gentle owner who will not overwhelm him. If Charlie sounds like the perfect addition to your family, apply below and his coordinator will reach out. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. She is a very good dog. Good with other dogs and kids, will run after cats. She LOVES to cuddle and play ball. Is good on the leash. Is an active dog, but is also calm. She doesn’t do well on cheap dog kibble as she has some allergies (comes with the breed). She is crate trained.

Story
Your Future Couch Companion Carlitos is an 8-year-old gentleman with a calm and easygoing demeanor. This sweet, low-energy pup enjoys lounging around, sunbathing, and receiving belly rubs. https://youtu.be/zl4aIP1SVXU?feature=shared He gets along well with female dogs and would thrive in a home with a laid-back female canine companion. Carlitos is not fond of cats and should not be placed in a household with them. He does best in quieter, residential settings, such as a house or condo, where he can avoid the hustle and bustle of city life. Carlitos is great on a leash and enjoys leisurely walks, making him perfect for a family looking for a relaxed and loving companion. Although he may not be the most playful pup, he brings a gentle and affectionate presence to those who take the time to get to know him. Carlitos would flourish in a home where he can be a cherished member of the family, enjoying cozy moments and gentle companionship. If you're looking for a mellow, lovable dog who will appreciate the comforts of home and a warm spot on the couch, Carlitos is your perfect match. Story
Walker is a very loving dog. He needs lots of attention and has never been alone. The reason we are re-homing him is because he and his brother have litter mate syndrome. We didn’t know of such a thing until it happened. He is 2 years old. The home that Walker needs is a very loving and caring home. He is used to being with people all day everyday. He does sleep and eat in his kennel. He has had some training for basic commands. He loves sprinklers and toys! Loves treats and showers! He gets tucked in every night with lots of soft blankets. He enjoys the occasional pup cup and loves to go for a drive.
