Story
My name is Noodle! My foster found me out in the January storms with nothing but a harness on.I am a 1yr old, female Staffordshire Terrier. I am heartworm negative.I am medium-high energy: I play rough with my same size foster sister, and gently with my tiny foster sister. I have a strong jaw and love to chew, especially when I am bored. Strangers are just friends I haven't kissed yet!I love to cuddle almost as much as I love to play, in your lap or under the covers!I am so full of love and energy, I may be 1 yr old, but I still think I am a puppy. I know how to 'Sit' and 'Shake', but need a patient family to teach me the rest of my manners. Are you a patient pawrent ready to fill your home with playtime and cuddles?

Avalon is a good dog with very few bad qualities. She is about 6-8 years old. She rarely has accidents. If you let her out enough, she won’t have any. I work 12+ hour days and can’t take care of her properly.

Story
Olga is a gentle purebred Staffordshire Terrier type pit bull. Gray with white on her chest. If you look up a picture of this bred, there she is. She will gently take food from your hand and snuggle on the couch. Yet, she is a good protector from the Amazon delivery man at the door. She is potty trained and will go through doggy door to use the rest room. She is good at commands ("Sit", "Outside", "Down"). Clean bill of health at Vet. She was found wandering by herself 6 months back. Could not find owner. Took to vet right away. Then, she had 7 puppies. I know!!!! 7. She was an amazing mother. The puppies were mixed breed. Olga is a great and gentle beautiful dog. She has joy in her face. She loves sunlight and treats. Her upbeat attitude makes for the best day. She is calm and sleeps at your feet while you work. Plus, you feel safe in her presence. Safety and love. She has been an indoor house dog for the last 6 months with no issues.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. No Apartments, Mobile Homes. Must have a fenced yard.I am Boomer!   My foster brother says I am a 'Chic Magnet'!   He takes me with him when ever he goes out with his friends.    I am very social and love everyone. I am a fun loving, talkative guy who loves my family. I especially love my 2 legged brother who talks back to me all the time.  We just received my DNA results and man are they crazy! I don't look like any of these and certainly am not as big as any of these breeds.   I know commands like come, down, sit, and I know when mom says 'time for bed', that means I run to my crate and she gives me a tasty treat. Mom doesn't like nasty puppy kisses, so she taught me to give hugs. That means I put my face next to her and she squeezes me for a hug. I am a really good boy and will be a fun guy for your family I love my foster brother David (he is really tall and stands on 2 feet - Weird! But I love to talk to him when he comes home from work, or when we wake up in the morning. We have some really great conversations.    I am a fun loving guy and would love to have a family of my own. I am ready for my forever family so apply to adopt me!   =========================================================       Please contact app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue! Story
I found Stanley in a park near my home. He was so beautiful with light green eyes. He was so friendly he walked right up to me and put his chin in my hand and allowed me to rub him. Then he just followed me and my girl dog all around the park. I had a male dog at home. I decided to bring him home. The next day i took him to the vet. He was not mirco chipped. I got all his shots. He is a wonderful dog with a great personality. He is wonderful with kids and people. He is fiercely protective of his family. He is not good with other male dogs. He is so lovable. It breaks my heart to have to give hime up.
