Story
UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 Meet Nigel! This sweet boy was saved from a local overcrowded shelter. He’s a mini doodle mix of some sort. He’s around 2 years old and 28 lbs. He is a sweet and pretty calm boy. He does well with other dogs. He will get settled into foster and we will update his pics and info. He’s utd, hw tested and neutered.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! Story
NEWBIE ALERT!! Meet Maggie — She’s another breeder Goldendoodle that was surrendered last week. Maggie is 2-3 years old and 40 lbs. She came to us matted and with terrible skin. She got a fresh groom and some meds and she’s looking and feeling like a new girl. Maggie is timid but very sweet. She is not aggressive at all but does need patience to adjust to a new environment and family. She’s great with other dogs. She loves her kennel… it’s her safe place but she’s settling in to her foster and starting to spend more and more time with the family. She will complete her vetting this week and will then be adoption ready. If you would like to give this sweet girl the wonderful home she deserves… please fill out the app below!  HUGE THANK YOU KAITLIN AT ADORABLE DOS FOR THE GROOM!! Story
My name is Mimi and my sister Suzie are in desperate need of our own home. We have been through a year of not knowing what was next when our parents were suddenly not able to care for us any longer. We would love to be adopted together but at this point we are so wanting of a home with love and support...we are considering saying goodbye to each other in hopes of a better life. We are both so very sweet. We are littermates. We are black, spayed and 8 years old. Please help us find a family who will love and care for us.
