Story
Hi there! My name is Lio, and I'm excited to share my story with you. I was born around 2018, and my life took a transformative turn in 2024 when I was rescued from an unlicensed breeding facility in Boryeong. Since then, I've been on a heartfelt quest to find my forever home, and I can't wait to tell you more about myself. I'm an affectionate little girl who loves to greet both familiar faces and new friends! With my playful spirit, I'll happily come up to you, nuzzle against you, and enjoy some loving pets. You can even scoop me up and give me a belly rub! While I haven't had much experience with children under 13, I promise to be gentle and kind. When I feel safe around you, I'll show you my belly for a nice rub! I thrive on outdoor activities and have a playful side. I have plenty of experience with walks and I'm great at following my person without pulling on the leash. With my high energy level, I need plenty of fun walks and playtime to keep me happy. After a day of adventure, there's nothing I enjoy more than curling up and relaxing at home. When it comes to my dog companions, I'm friendly and enjoy saying hello, but I'm not much of a player. I can get a little feisty if another dog provokes me, so it's best to keep an eye on me during introductions. While I don't guard my food from people, I might growl if another dog approaches while I'm eating. I also tend to be a bit jealous, which makes me think I'd prefer to be the only pet in the household. I'm still working on building my confidence, especially when it comes to being left alone. I might let you know if I'm feeling a little anxious or if I want something, as I do express my needs with some vocalizations. While I haven't met any cats yet, I'm curious about them! I'm fully trained to use indoor pads and enjoy outdoor bathroom breaks as well. Oh, and I have a bit of a jumping talent! My agility means I could easily hop over low fences, so that's something to keep in mind if you have a yard. Right now, I know how to sit on command, and I'm eager to learn more tricks! I can't wait to find a loving home where I can share my playful spirit and affection. If you're looking for a loyal and energetic companion, I hope you'll consider bringing me into your family. I promise to fill your life with love and joy ##2260960##

Story
Yeondu is a unique poodle who values interaction with humans. Poodles are generally friendly and social, but yeondu especially prefers interaction with people. Yeondu finds comfort In bonding with people and an environment where he can always be around people would be best suited for him. He has a personality that reacts sensitively to noise, but he is also smart enough to respond immediately to instructions to stop barking which shows his intelligent nature and adaptability to training, Yeondu can get along well with other dogs of similar size but he much prefers the company of humans. Although he plays well with other dogs of similar size, he also shows signs of adjusting to his environment by controlling is own pace in the process. When taking a walk, he may occasionally pull on the leash but this is usually done in a `moment of excitement. Afterwards, he soon calms down and starts walking slowly. This is a natural way for him to release his energy. Yeondu, who is currently 7 years old, is in good health and he recently had teeth cleaning as well. If you have a good understanding of the personality of poodles, then Yeondu would be the perfect dog for you because yeondu is more than just a poodle, he is ready to be a family member. Yeondu can enjoy a happier life through deep bonds with people and will shine even brighter in an environment where he can grow while receiving love and attention. Your time with Yeonju will definitely be a valuable experience. To see more videos:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyEuMiuW6Ww6_M6uBAS7hU7RgIBxsffTr

Story
Hi. My name is OGOPOGO (Bobo) and here is a little info about me:Breed: Tibetan Terrier/Poodle mixAge: 2.5 yrsGender: maleWeight: 18 kgHeight: 50 cmHighlight(s): very active, clever, snuggly I'm quite the energetic and playful fellow, hoping you like lots of exercise and fun.I was stolen by a drug addict from my original owner here in the Middle East. My rescuer had to buy me from him. She placed lots of ads to find my family, but nobody came forward. If you love cuddles, I am just the dog for you. I probably need a person all to myself, as I am a bit jealous. While I am good with female dogs, not so much with other males. So, probably best as an only fur-child. I also don't care for cats and go after them. I tend to be anxious about being left alone, so best if I have a person around most of the time. I am very clever and will wait by the washroom door for you to come out. I'm good with kids 8 and older too.I do have a lot of energy that needs to be expended each day. If not, I tend to chew. So toys are a must. I go through them pretty quickly.A home with a high fenced yard is rather a necessity for me. I can jump easily jump a 4-1/2 foot wall. I'm great in the car, but make sure I am restrained, so I don't jump out. You see, I am very curious. So I will also wander out an open door, so you must be vigilant. I am quite good on leash though and need some decent walks and playtime to wear down the hyper. Ha. A jogging buddy would be excellent.I am a very loyal boy who will make a great companion for someone active. See, nothing mysterious here, just a normal active boy.  More videos to come. Energy Level: high to very high I get along with:Dogs: yes and no, mostly females ok, no malesCats: noKids: yes Fears: Being left alone. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Training: someLeash skills: some. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: a bit. Please be prepared to help me learn! With regular walks, I will pick up quickly where to do my business. Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST DOGS] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. ##1725141##

This little cutie is new to our care. Applications will not be reviewed until he has settled in and we know more about his needs. * Please note that this dog is still quite shy and scared. For this reason, the best home will have a fenced yard and another dog to help this rescue learn about life and feel safe. Stay tuned for updates.

Story
Meet Remus! 🐾 Age: 2 years | Breed: Aussie Doodle Mix | Weight: ~45 lbs This sweet boy is Remus, or "Remi" to his friends! With his beautiful, unique coat and soulful eyes, Remi is as handsome as he is gentle. While he's a bit reserved at first, this fluffy guy has a soft heart and is ready to bond with his people—one cozy snuggle at a time. Remi is good with other dogs and has been a patient, calming presence around his foster siblings, including a playful puppy and an adult doodle. Though he's still on the shy side, Remi is slowly coming out of his shell and even engaging in some gentle play! When it comes to kids, cats, and other animals, Remi hasn't been tested yet, so we'll need some extra introductions there. He's still finding his confidence and may need a little more time to feel at ease around young children. Leash walks? Remi's a natural! He prefers to stay close to you, making him a relaxed walking buddy. As for house training, he's making progress but prefers a little privacy during bathroom breaks—who doesn't? With patience and consistency, he's well on his way! Remi's got a few quirky traits that make him extra lovable. He's known for gathering little treasures like shoes or clothing—not to chew, but just to keep close by, as if holding onto a piece of his humans. His favorite pastime? Lounging on the couch, especially if someone is willing to give him an ear scratch (his ultimate weakness)! If you're looking for a lower energy companion who's happy just being near his people, If you have a fenced yard and a buddy to help Remi along, Remi might be your perfect match. He's got a big heart, a gentle soul, and he's just waiting for a patient family to help him feel safe and loved. With a cozy spot on the couch and a few treats on hand, you'll have a best friend for life. 🐾❤️ This dog has not been tested with kids, cats, or other animals.

Story
Introducing Benji 🤎 a tender-hearted boy on a journey to find trust, love, and his forever family! Benji is a 2-year-old, 45-pound Aussiedoodle with a soft, wavy coat and the kindest eyes you'll ever see. Standing 22 inches tall, he's the perfect size for being both your walking and cuddling companion! This sensitive boy is making steady strides towards confidence. While he's still cautious and prefers to observe the action from a cozy corner, Benji is starting to wag his tail more often, offer sweet kisses, and even join his foster family for moments of affection. With a little patience, he's sure to become someone's most loyal companion. Benji gets along beautifully with other dogs and seems to find comfort in their company. He enjoys daily 5km walks, has excellent leash manners, and isn't reactive to other dogs on the trail. He's curious but calm, making him a dream walking partner. Benji is fully house-trained and thrives on routine. He's learning all about the good life by watching his furry foster siblings and is slowly discovering the joys of toys and playtime. His favorite treats? Freeze-dried liver snacks! While Benji is gentle, he's a bit shy around people—especially when things get unpredictable. For this reason, a quieter home without young children would suit him best. Sudden movements or loud noises can startle him, but with a soft voice and a calm approach, he'll warm up in time. Becuase of his timidness, we suggest a home with a fully fenced yard is best in order to accommodate Benji's needs and help him feel safe. Benji has not been tested with cats; however we don't think there will be an issue as he doesn't have a tenancy to chase. If you're looking for a patient, kind-hearted companion who's ready to come out of his shell, Benji might just be your perfect match. He's eager to keep growing and would love a home with understanding humans and maybe even a canine buddy to show him the ropes.
