Meet Shadow. Shadow was surrendered with 2 other pup-mates by their owner through no fault of their own. The other two have since been adopted but this sweet boy is still available. He is a bouncy, playful pup greets everyone with wagging tails and big, open mouth smile. Shadow is slightly jumpy, so be prepared for a hug along with their warm hello. Shadow was crate trained and knows 'sit' and 'shake' very well. He does like to pull on leash and our volunteers and staff are working with him to improve this. Like all Poodles, he is a smart dog, who loves to run. He will thrive in a home with an active owner, who also understands his grooming needs. Here's some notes from their foster: This sweet duo are just about the most well mannered dogs I've ever met. Kelso makes friends immediately. Donna likes to take her time but is equally loving. Kelso loves to cuddle. He will fall asleep lying next to me with his head on my chest. If he wants pets he gently puts his paw on my arm. They follow all commands quickly. They don't compete over food or treats. They love walks! They also seem very happy when we get home-several times when we have gotten home Kelso has tried to get my 8lbs. poodle to play-to no avail. They're good eaters and are perfectly house trained. They sleep through the night. They are a talkative bunch. They'll talk to you, talk to each other, talk to other dogs: they are not afraid to say what's on their minds! Thankfully, what is on their minds is usually enthusiasm and excitement for whatever is happening around them. That enthusiasm can turn into impolite greetings with dogs passing by on leash, so the two are working on remembering their manners and not coming on too strong. They're great in the car. Whenever I come home after being away for a few hours the house is quiet. They're either hanging out in the backyard or resting on the sofa or bed.

They could not possibly be more sweet, more beautiful, or more loving. In addition to completing your family and making you deliriously happy, they will also dust your baseboards with their tails.
