Story
Shadow is an absolutely beautiful boy, adorable beyond belief. His mother passed away in 2023 and her adopted son, a special needs man, allowed Shadow to defecate and urinate in the house and did not walk him regularly or socialize him. Shadow will sit quietly when he gets to know you and is friendly once he has become acquainted with you, but he is very skittish, often scared and barks for long periods of time at strangers. He will sit quietly when he is comfortable, but is easily spooked and will bark again. He does not appear to have been physically abused and we were informed he was house trained in the past, but he is not consistent now and needs retraining, a lot of love and patience. Shadow is stunning, and is about 17 pounds. We know his birthdate is 5/24/2017 based on records from Five Star Veterinary Center in Sylmar. We recommend acquiring his records from there, as he was neutered, vaccinated and immunized there, according to the few records we found.

She is very energetic and loves to play and run around. She can be a bit nervous around new people and dogs in the beginning, so would prefer to be the only dog in the household so that she can have all the love and attention to herself.
