Story
Clyde is a 2 year old neutered male labradoodle who weighs about 55 pounds. He was adopted from us as a puppy, but recently came back to us when his family wanted a better situation for him. Clyde is such a kind gentleman who is very well behaved and loves to please his people. He takes 2 medications twice a day for seizures, but they are well managed and he is very good at taking the meds. Clyde is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, previously lived with kids and has tested well with other dogs. Do you have room in your heart and home for this adorable guy? If you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application on our website www.justice-rescue.comJustice Rescue - 17663Malvern, PA 19355

Story
Kenzi is a gorgeous, two-year-old standard poodle with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful girl is always ready for fun, whether it’s going on long walks (where she’s still perfecting her leash manners) or staying right by your side—she’s deeply devoted to her humans and just wants to be close. Kenzi came to us after her previous owner, facing progressing health issues, was no longer physically able to care for her. She arrived underweight and covered in mats, but despite her rough start, her sweet spirit has never wavered. With some TLC, good food, and plenty of love, she’s thriving and ready to start her new chapter! She’s affectionate, silly, and full of life! She gets so excited to see her favorite people that she might jump up to say hello or playfully mouth at your hand—it’s her way of showing love and enthusiasm. With gentle guidance, she’s learning that all four paws on the ground mean just as much fun and attention. She’s well-behaved in the home, doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t, and only barks when she’s asking to be near her people. Kenzi is mostly potty trained and has quickly settled into a good routine. While she’s not the biggest fan of her crate, she will rest there through the night if needed. What Kenzi loves most? Being with her humans, getting head rubs, and soaking up as much affection as possible. She would thrive in a home that can give her the attention, love, and activity she craves. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion to be your adventure buddy and cuddle partner, Kenzi is ready to meet you! 🐾 Interested in adopting Kenzi? Fill out an application at https://www.familiarhearts.org/adoptable-pets and make this sweet girl part of your forever family! 💕

Story
Meet Toby – A True Gentleman Looking for His Forever Home! Toby is an incredibly sweet and well-mannered boy who will make a wonderful companion for the right family. He is fully housebroken and crate trained, happily snoozing in his crate at night (with the door open). While he has free rein of the house, he prefers to stay on the main floor and has only attempted a few stairs. Toby has excellent house manners—no chewing, no accidents, and he walks beautifully on a leash. He loves looking out the window, lounging outside, and spending his days napping on his dog bed while his foster works. He’s a gentle soul who takes treats delicately and knows the command “sit.” He enjoys mealtime, treats, and all the love and attention he can get. Toby gets along well with other small dogs and does great with kids 10+. However, he does exhibit some “stranger danger” and will bark at new people entering the home (like delivery drivers). While he has some stiffness in his hind legs, it doesn’t slow him down—he still enjoys his walks and daily activities. He also rides well in the car and, so far, has shown little to no shedding. He previously had leg surgery but got a clean bill of health from our vet   Toby would thrive in a calm, patient home with no small children. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will happily be your shadow, Toby might just be your perfect match! Location: Fostered in Lower Merion.  Potential adopter must travel to his location for a meet House-trained & crate trained Good with small dogs & older kids (10+)  Loves walks, naps, and companionship No small children Interested in adopting Toby? Story
This dapper gentleman here is Nathaniel, and he is the sweetest boy. He was found as a stray, and no one has come looking for him. So, his past is a mystery. He truly has the sweetest soul and enjoys placing his head on your lap for attention. he knows basic commands and responds well to correction. also walks nice on leash and very gentle when taking treats from you. we are unsure how he will be with others so as always, a meet and greet is required.

Story
Murray is a very smart, affectionate, obedient dog. He is ideally best as an “only dog.” We have 6 dogs total. We have to keep him separated from one dog all the time, and occasionally he will go after any of the other dogs without any outward indication. Generally he is good with the female dogs we have, but randomly he will go after one or another. This is the reason we need to rehome him. He really is a good dog (but very bad about counter surfing), but he really should be with fewer dogs. I think he just gets jealous of the attention we give to our other dogs. He is up to date, neutered, and decently trained. Crate trained, and really likes his crate. He is free to a good home.

Story
Sadie is a six year old Boodle. She is poodle and bulldog mix from Zimmer Pet shop in Boyertown, PA. She is about 75 pounds and medium to large dog. Sadie is very friendly and social with all dogs. She does chase after cats, so a home without cats would be best. I am looking for a new home for Sadie as I just don't have the time she deserves with current situations and this a very hard decision to rehome her and was not made lightly. A good home for Sadie would preferably be a male or male and female as I think she prefers the male bonding.

Adoptions must be about within a reasonable commute from Wilmington, DE for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in-person home visit Meet Blackberry! Blackberry is a 10-year-old, 10 lb mini Poodle mix who was surrendered by his owner. He had been sadly neglected and it was time for a new beginning. Blackberry was brought into our care and immediately received a sedated shave and was neutered. It was discovered that one of his eyes was missing, and the other one was so damaged, it had to be removed. Although Blackberry is deaf as well as blind, he doesn’t miss a trick. This amazing pup can wake from a sound sleep, sniff his way across the room, and jump on the sofa to find his foster mom eating cereal without him! Blackberry is very close to being housebroken. He will wear diapers, but only if he needs to be alone for several hours. When he is kept on a schedule, he remains accident free! Blackberry can’t do stairs, but very quickly learned where the front door is and how to step down out of the house. Blackberry doesn’t require any monthly prescription medications but will take Trazadone on occasion when he needs to be alone for several hours to avoid separation anxiety. Due to being both blind and deaf, he would be happiest to have an owner who is home most of the time. He likes to know his people are near and will cry out if he feels lost. Blackberry gets along well with other dogs but doesn’t like cats. He would do best in an adult-only home or one with dog savvy children that are aware of his special needs. Blackberry walks on a leash but tends to criss cross and would be happier with a fenced-in yard. Blackberry is a super sweet pup who enjoys greeting people. He loves to have his belly rubbed, get picked up, and enjoys lots of cuddles. He happily sleeps in bed with his foster mom and is a certified couch potato. If you need an adorable, furry friend to keep you company and make you smile, please apply today!!

Max is a 15-year-old, 12 lb., Poodle mix who was surrendered when his owner’s health declined. Max was in good health and only required a dental and neuter. He has good vision and hearing and is fully potty trained. Max gets along well with other dogs and older children. He walks well on a leash and has no trouble with stairs. Max is a more independent dog. He loves being with people but isn’t into cuddling.  Max is a happy pup who enjoys going for walks and exploring the yard.
